Therefore, it is taught that view cannot be meditated upon. It is taught that vows cannot be kept. It is impossible to keep them, and one's own mind cannot be restrained. Since it is self-arisen wisdom, it cannot be kept. It is taught that activity cannot be labored upon, because Dzogchen is fundamentally beyond cause and effect. Activity is accomplished from cause and desires fruit. Because Dzogchen has no desire for fruit. Because activity is fundamentally without labor. Therefore, it is taught that activity cannot be labored upon. It is taught that the path cannot be traveled, for the Buddhas of the three times and the sentient beings of the three realms, traveling is traveling on the path of bodhicitta. In the mind, there is no distinction between Buddha and sentient beings. Therefore, the mind does not travel the path on the mind. It is taught that the ground cannot be cultivated, for this ground of dharmadhatu bodhicitta, desiring liberation through cultivation is causal. For this ground of dharmadhatu bodhicitta, I have not taught the teachings of cultivation, modification, and accomplishment. It is taught that the realm of wisdom should not be conceptualized, the realm is originally self-arisen wisdom, and in wisdom, there is no realm of wisdom. Thus it is. It is taught that the bond of the meaning of non-action is, for laborious dharma, repeated effort and exertion, like a child's mud house, is a dharma of destruction. Therefore, all efforts and exertions of cause and effect, virtue and vice, are bound from the beginning in the bond of non-existence. Just as a child builds and destroys a sandcastle in a playground, arising and gradually withdrawing into emptiness, etc., are established in conventional truth, but in ultimate truth, all dharmas of the three doors of effort and accomplishment are the same, with the grasping of non-existence. All virtue, vice, cause, and effect transcend movement and effort, and the yogi binds them in the great non-action. As the great Garuda says: There is nothing to see in the mind, and no one sees the reason. Therefore, what is the use of virtue without sin? It is said. The All-Creating King says: Because there is nothing to do in dharma, enter through the gate of non-effort. It is also said: O great bodhisattva, desiring greatness and meditating and striving, greatness is not achieved by meditation and striving. Greatness is self-arisen and inherently great. If you meditate, you are correcting the Buddha's intention. If you correct the Buddha's intention, you will never encounter your own nature for eons. O great bodhisattva, the samadhi of the mind.

"Do not meditate." "Do not realize the realm of wisdom." "There is no need to recite mantras and heart mantras with the mouth. There is no need to form mudras with the hands. The mind does not engage in the activity of scattering and gathering of its own nature. By abiding in its natural state, it is spontaneously accomplished, unwavering. By abiding in its own nature, no one can alter it. By remaining in the unforced, as-it-is state, it is taught as the supreme of actions, the actionless." "By realizing this meaning, one does not engage in actions. By not engaging in actions, one abides in Suchness. Whoever abides in Suchness, he will accomplish without error, without fabrication. That is the unerring nature, the unfabricated. 'Itself' refers to the unerring essence. From Suchness, there is no Buddha, no Dharma." Furthermore, it says, "Do not fail to realize the state of as-it-is, unfabricated. Bless the outer and inner realms of vessel and essence as pure. Through all doors of the limbs of enlightenment and rituals, the deity of meditative wisdom appears. After offering for a moment, request departure, dissolve the samadhi." "Meditating and dissolving again is like a child's mud house. As-it-is, unfabricated, contradicts my meaning." Thus it is said. The bondage of cause and effect without effort is: "Now, the yogi of the Ati essence will determine all the teachings of cause and effect, which are for guiding children, as inferior paths of ascent, and bind the meaning of his own mind, which transcends Dharma, to the unmade covenant of the sky." "In childhood, it is the Dharma of play. In old age, it is the Dharma of self-torment. When intelligence is low, the lower eight vehicles are Dharma. When one is grown, the Dharma of Ati is exhausted, and abiding in the natural state is the Dharma of the essence. Having realized that the Dharmakaya spontaneously abides within oneself, one abides in the ten powers of self-nature, without effort or accomplishment." In the All-Creating King, it says: "O great being, the Bodhicitta is the king of kings. There is nothing done by the All-Creating Bodhicitta that is more excellent than what is done by the Bodhicitta. The Bodhicitta is originally without error. Because it is originally so, it is originally without error. Without error, there is no attaching of true or false labels. It transcends causes, conditions, results, and effort. If one does not know that one has already transcended effort and thinks that effort, action, and meditation can accomplish, then there is no greater obstacle to enlightenment than that. Without abiding, without thinking, without any seeking, in the realm of non-thought, one's own...
