, it arises from the ability to produce samsara and nirvana, therefore it is arising. There are four types: pure, impure, pure impure, and impure pure. Son of lineage, listen well! The pure arising is the five wisdoms. The impure is earth, water, fire, and wind. The pure impure is bones and flesh, etc. The impure pure is the rainbow in the sky. An example is the appearance of sunlight, or like light appearing from crystal. Thus it is said. Vajra-holder, listen! The characteristic of earth is solidity. The characteristic of water is moisture. The characteristic of fire is heat. The characteristic of wind is movement. The characteristic of sky is vastness. Each also acts in the same way. From the pure earth arises white light. From that appears the impure earth. That is from the transformation of the pure, four kinds of light arise. In that, four kinds of impurity appear. The characteristics of the pure arising are: without solidity, it is stable; without moisture, it gathers; without movement, it moves; without heat, it burns; it has radiance without pervasiveness. The nature of reality, the Dharmakaya, is unchanging. The earth that is stable without solidity, the nature of reality and the Dharmakaya are inseparable, pure, transparent, and without impurity. All are gathered within it. The water that gathers without moisture, the nature of reality and the Dharmakaya are inseparable, without movement and without obstruction. The wind that moves without agitation, goes to the state of suffering. The nature of reality and the Dharmakaya are non-dual, from its own radiance arises wisdom, without other appearances or conceptual thoughts, the fire that burns without heat, what is clear without other appearances is, possessing the radiance of pervasive wisdom. The sky is radiant without pervasiveness. The impure five elements dissolve into five lights. The five lights dissolve into the sphere of purity. Even if examined, it arises in sequence. Thus it is said. In this way, from the pure five elements, radiance arises, mistaken for impurity, concerning the way of speaking about the three kalpas, among the four: the essence of the kalpa, the etymology, the classification, and the explanation of the meaning, the essence is the first kalpa, the nature of reality is separated from the object, it is merely that the plan has not stopped, because the actual object does not appear. The intermediate kalpa is the spontaneously accomplished ground, the result is separated from samsara and nirvana, it appears only as the light of self-appearing images, surpassing the ground.

Because it is the time when the fruit has not yet ripened. The last kalpa, from the cycle of samsara and nirvana of realization and non-realization, is kalpa with the two lights, because grasping and fixation actually ripen in samsara. The definition is that the essence is pure, the spontaneously accomplished kalpa, and the kalpa of self-appearance grasping and fixation is defiled, depending on the two ways of kalpa, it is called kalpa. The classification is that the first kalpa is the basis of spontaneous accomplishment, the middle is the five lights of the image reflected as body and wisdom, and the last is the three appearances of illusion and samsara. The meaning of kalpa is that those appearances remain for a long time, which is the reason for kalpa, that is, they do not remain measurable by years and months, etc. Also, the light of the image arises from the basis, so the first kalpa, the grasping and fixation of the inner essence arises from the light, so the middle kalpa, the happiness and suffering of illusion arises from grasping and fixation, so the last kalpa, it should also be known as the meaning of kalpa. As the tantra says: Explaining the essence of kalpa is: I have explained the basis, path, and fruit, initially wisdom arises in the realm, like the appearance and the ability to appear, at the initial time, the nature of reality is kalpa, in the middle, with the conceptual thought of grasping, the appearance of wisdom dissolves inward, thereby the form becomes the outer vessel, the world of the vessel is called kalpa, finally the two, grasping and fixation, are kalpa, from that, Buddhas, sentient beings, and beings are kalpa, the definition is complete with vows, the classification is three aspects, staying for a long time is called kalpa. Thus it is said. The place of origin has been explained. Thirdly, there are two ways to indicate the abiding of body and wisdom, namely, the general explanation of the state of the body, and the separate explanation of the state of wisdom. The former has two, namely, the explanation of the three bodies and the explanation of the five bodies. The former has five, namely, essence, definition, classification, metaphor, and nomenclature, among which the essence of the Dharmakaya is the spontaneously accomplished unconditioned awareness, the wisdom like the mirror of Samantabhadra, abiding in the three, essence, nature, and compassion. As the Kunsang says: The essence of the Dharmakaya is impartial wisdom, non-duality. Thus and so on, also the essence is unconditioned, uncreated, unmixed, unchanging, naturally pure, unconditioned great wisdom, the emptiness of the nature of reality like the sky, the nature of reality of vajra, awareness without substance, primordial purity
