Lamp, the door of self-arising Dharmata. Obscuring the star window, clarity appears. Thus it is said. When the butter lamp of singed cloth is directed towards Surya (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning), one sees the radiant manifestation of the light rays of wisdom. Because one believes that the rays are the rays themselves, there are three signs. Furthermore, at the time when the mother and child of clear light meet, all the lights there tremble and flicker, like the sun's rays at the tip of a weapon of light. From within that radiating light, the natural sound of Dharmata comes like the roar of a thousand dragons, and one should recognize this as self-appearance. Next, the introduction is: In the immeasurable palace of wisdom, the glorious womb in one's own heart, the three kayas abide inseparably. One recognizes through introduction by example, one has confidence in oneself through introduction by signs, one is certain that one possesses it oneself through introduction by meaning. By distinguishing with words, one differentiates that the three—example, sign, and meaning—that one possesses now will appear in the bardo later. In "Kunsel" it says: In the expanse of the heart is clear light, like a lamp inside a vase. Unchanging wisdom is the unerring ground wisdom, it is the sacred wisdom of meaning. The mirror of great wisdom is the uncreated dharma, it is the sacred wisdom of example. The mandala of spontaneously present light is the unchanging view, it is the sacred wisdom of signs. Thus it is said. Those who have received the introduction, by practicing as shown here, will have no place to stray, the self-appearing mandala will arise, there will be no place to wander, the mother and child of Dharmata will merge. Thus, at the time when the mother and child of clear light meet in the bardo later, and one distinguishes the ranks of samsara and nirvana, if one does not have the experience of meeting someone one knows, then the instructions will be of no benefit. Therefore, it is extremely important to repeatedly examine and familiarize oneself with the practice of meditation, so strive in meditation. From today onwards, you and glorious Vajrasattva are no different. Thus is explained the Red Path guidance. Third, explaining according to the way of liberation of the result, there are three: the way of liberation in the bardo of self-nature, the way of liberation in the bardo of Dharmata, and the way of reversing the ranks of samsara from the bardo of existence. The first, among the three faculties of superior, middling, and inferior, the very best of the superior is liberated by introduction. As the Explanatory Tantra says: Introduction and attainment of realization are simultaneous. Attainment of realization and abandonment of dharma are simultaneous.

The moment of abandoning the body and the cessation of delusion are simultaneous. The moment of the cessation of delusion and the awakening of ignorance are simultaneous. The moment of the awakening of ignorance and the increase of wisdom are simultaneous. The moment of the increase of wisdom and the attainment of perfect enlightenment are simultaneous. "After explaining the meaning of the words, place them in the ranks of the victors." Thus it is said. The liberation through practicing the middle of the best is, the liberation through the possessor of instructions holding their own ground on the path is, from that very text: "The root connected to the precious ocean, from the white, soft, empty abdomen, the essence unstained by blood, from there great wisdom arises." By practicing the meaning of this, on the mandala of the mother's dharmata, the son's self-born wisdom arises, on the self-arising without birth or death, by practicing the self-liberation without gathering or scattering, the three bodies are liberated without gathering or scattering, and there is no appearance of the bardo of dharmata. The liberation through abandoning the body, the lowest of the best, is, the liberation through the lazy one recognizing their own nature on the ground is, just as the moon and sun on the fifteenth day have no interval, without the bardo, liberation is attained through the rainbow body upwards. Although awareness has no birth or death, the way the yogi's bodily aggregates are liberated is, the earth element dissolves into water, the four limbs collapse to the ground, and the body becomes heavy. The water element dissolves into fire, the mouth and nose become dry. The fire element dissolves into wind, warmth is lost from the four extremities of the body. The wind element dissolves into space, awareness becomes unclear. At that time, the mind, combined with the wind, exits from the lungs, passes through the black and white esophagus, exits from the mouth and nose, and the breath goes out with a "ha" sound and does not return, which is called death. The wind and mind dissolve into space, the lungs are without air, like a blind horse stumbling and a blind man losing his eyes, the mind and wisdom turn their backs on each other. At that time, all the blood in the body gathers in the life-force channel. When blood flows from the life-force channel into the heart, it is like a king ascending the throne and a minister drawing an arrow. Although a feeling of panic arises, a rational person does not perceive it. Wisdom departs from the heart, enters through the hole of the white silk channel, and when it emerges from the lamp of the water gate, the rainbow body of wisdom appears, and by recognizing one's own nature in the self-appearance, without the bardo, in the first instant, liberation is attained through the rainbow body upwards. In the introduction of recognition, at that time, wisdom comes out of the eyes, the eyes are connected to the rope of uninterrupted compassion, the inter
