, and it seems to be connected to one's own heart by a thread of light. That is, on the first day, when one recognizes that the blue light is the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, one is liberated when one sees the father and mother Vairochana surrounded by four pairs of fathers and mothers, such as Vajrasattva. On the second day, when one realizes that the white light is mirror-like wisdom, Akshobhya; on the third day, when one realizes that the yellow light is the wisdom of equality, Ratnasambhava; on the fourth day, when one realizes that the red light is the wisdom of discernment, Amitabha; on the fifth day, when one realizes that the green light is the wisdom of accomplishing activities, Amoghasiddhi, the father and mother and retinue, appear in the center of the mandala, and when one recognizes one's own nature, one is liberated. At this time, among the three key points, by the key point of knowing how to enter, the appearance of light entering into awareness, those all sink into the heart; when awareness enters into light, those appearances of one's own body dissolve into their hearts, recognizing it as self-appearance, one abides in the meditation of self-nature. Abiding in that state itself, knowing it as the body of clear light wisdom, is liberation, called the key point of the body. Then, liberation on the basis of knowledge is called the key point of recognizing the ultimate, that is, first recognizing self-appearance, then abiding on the basis of knowledge, and liberation on the basis of abiding is being proficient in the three key points. The length of time of abiding depends on the length of time of abiding in the previous samadhi, so the time of meditation here is also the same. Then, dissolving into the wisdom of union, those appearances return from themselves, and in the four directions of the heart, silk of white light appears, and above it, which is pervasive wherever one looks, in the center of a white bindu, adorned with small dots of blue, yellow, green, and red, this is the self-radiance of mirror-like wisdom. Above it is yellow, above it is red, and above it is blue silk, on the bindu that resembles its own color, adorned with tiny dots of other colors, this is the self-radiance of the wisdom of equality, discernment, and the Dharmadhatu. Green does not appear because the merit of accomplishment has not been perfected, so it does not appear. At this time, one should recognize the key points of the three liberations, because the body is not composed of matter, so it is liberated from the four elements. Because awareness is without defilement, it is liberated from the afflictions. Clear light

Because there is no inside, one is liberated from grasping and being grasped. That is also because recognizing one's own nature, one is liberated in the primordial state. Then, merging into the spontaneously accomplished precious wisdom, at the moment those appearances merge, all directions above, below, and in between are like an autumn sky without clouds. In the indigo blue, five-colored halos surround each other, like the sun or moon surrounded by a rainbow, in the center are Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri, in the middle are the five Buddha families, and below are the six realms, and their teacher, the six Thubpas (Buddhas), arising from one's own appearances. When one recognizes one's own nature, eight ways of arising, six kinds of clairvoyance, six kinds of recollection, and eight ways of merging also occur. First, to recognize one's own nature, there are three key instructions. The instruction of trusting one's own appearances, like meeting someone one knows from before, is: trust one's own appearances, without any doubt, and settle naturally. The instruction of being unchangeable like a golden stake is: upon recognition, do not be distracted elsewhere, but settle there. The instruction of being irreversible like a great arrow shot is: upon recognition, liberate and abide in self-luminous non-thought. At that time, the eight ways of arising are: Arising like compassion, compassion arises impartially towards all sentient beings like a mother to her only child. Arising like light, self-light radiates from those appearances, filling all of space. Arising like a body, within all the spheres of light, one's own appearance is as the body of a deity. Arising like wisdom, one's own appearance is as the pure land of the Buddhas. Arising like non-duality, one abides single-pointedly in non-conceptual samadhi. Arising like the exhaustion of extremes, one realizes all phenomena of appearance as completely transparent. Arising like the impure door of samsara, one realizes the six realms appearing in the sphere of brocade light as like a dream and illusion. Arising like the pure door of wisdom, the knowledge of suchness and all that exists is self-illuminating. At that time, the six kinds of clairvoyance are: With the clairvoyance of the senses, one is liberated in the pure land of appearance and conditions. With the clairvoyance of the pure vision of wisdom, one realizes one's own appearance as clear light. With the clairvoyance of wisdom, afflictions are exhausted in their own place. With the clairvoyance of mental pliancy, one abides in single-pointed samadhi. With the clairvoyance of the exhaustion of outflows, one realizes that being bound by the aggregates is exhausted in its own place. With the clairvoyance of wisdom vision, one realizes one's own appearance as the nature of reality.
