Function, activity, and result. The location is in the lungs, in the vessels filled with wind like hollow straws, serving as the basis for the spread of all breaths, connected to and located in the heart. As stated in the "Golden Garland": The location is in the center of the windy place. Its essence is the conceptualization arising from the mixture of the heart's awareness and wind. That wind is like a blind person with legs, and the awareness that does not flutter is like having eyes, the two combining. The path is the wind that travels from the lungs to each vessel branch. In order to realize the objects of the five senses, it is the vessel path through which wind flows at the gates of the mouth, nose, and each sense organ. The gates are the individual sense organs and the mouth and nose. The objects are the six objects of the six aggregates, such as form. The function is all kinds of conceptualizations such as grasping, holding, negating, and affirming. The activity is to create karma, afflictions, and numerous habitual tendencies, etc. The result is to generate all the sufferings of samsara. Secondly, the divisions of wisdom are also sevenfold. The location is in the center of what resembles a jeweled citta (藏文:ཙིཏྟ་) erected like a shrine tent, at the center of the four petals of the clear light vessel, relying on a tiny mustard seed-like essence of purity. As stated in the "String of Pearls": The location is the heart, in the center of the citta (藏文:ཙིཏྟ་). Its essence is the wisdom of awareness, the essence is emptiness, the nature is clarity, and compassion is uninterrupted, blazing with light and form like the wick of a lamp. As stated in the "Thalgyur": In the jeweled palace of the citta (藏文:ཙིཏྟ་), the essence is the part that is pure from the beginning, the union of emptiness and clarity is the radiance of the body, the complete face and hands are in the form of a vase body, spontaneously present in a sphere of light, and compassion is clear in each color. Its function is located in the mandala of wrathful deities in the cranial cavity. As stated by Vajrasattva in the "Mirror of the Heart": From the wisdom that arises from that, the location is in the cranial cavity of the head. That wrathful deity's body is the size of a mustard seed, residing at a distance of an arrow's flight. It exists in the form of light and rays of light. Thus it is said. The path is the vessel connecting the heart to the eye, a tube of clear kati crystal. As stated in the "Golden Garland": The vessel connected to the jeweled ocean, white, smooth, and hollow inside, not stained by the blood of the thigle, great wisdom flows from there. The way of connection is: from the tip of the heart, it winds around the side of the vertebrae, from the small protuberances on the left and right sides of the throat to the ear.

Twisted from two (channels), from the brain to the pupils of the eyes, piercing and residing in the two water lamps. From the former, the rays of light arising from that path are as clear and pure as the center of a mirror. For example, appearing as rays of light like the eyes of a fish. The channel connected to this awareness is like a white silk thread from the tip of the heart, extending upwards from the side of the spine. Then, arising from that path, it enters upwards into the interior of the head, and that channel is also connected to the brain from the small tips on the left and right. That also emerges from the left and right ears and connects to the eyes. Therefore, when the eyes turn to the sky and look by constricting the channels, they will be filled with the appearance of wisdom. Thus it is said. From which gate does it appear? It appears from the two eyes. In the *Destructive Vajra* it says: The distant lasso, the water lamp, is shown as the gate for the appearance of wisdom. Thus it is said. The root of the eye channels is connected to the navel and the heart. The heart is connected to the throat. The throat is connected to the conch chamber, and from the channel petals coiling to the right, dividing into four branches, from the channel petals that cause the senses to appear to objects, it divides into five tips, acting as the support for each of the five gates, among which the channel called the purifier of the senses of merit and demerit, for the Kashmiris, the root is thin, with two branches like the horns of a young cow, piercing the pure part of the eye pupils, producing a clear and bright nature of water, half black and half white, therefore it is called the distant lasso, the water lamp. Relying on that, the lamp of empty spheres appears like the colors of a peacock's tail. Its sound, the lamp of completely pure space, appears like the letter nāro (藏文:ན་རོ་). Its power, the lamp of self-born wisdom, appears as the power of knowledge. That is also, the glass tube is the light channel, and the purifier of the senses is the sensory support of the eyes, like the channel of the saffron flower. Inside the eye is the actual awareness looking outward, and the appearance of external phenomena such as forms, the gate in the middle of looking inward, is like being separated by a flawless mirror, in order for the inner light to be clear outwards, and for the external images to appear inwards, so that both are seen clearly without being obscured. There are four channel gates for the appearance of the light of actual awareness: from the two eyes the light actually appears, from the heart to the center of the central channel, from the heart essence clear light channel arises the wrathful one of the conch chamber, and its light.
