Thus it is said. Thus, the Dharmadhatu is naturally pure, the wisdom of empty-clear awareness, naturally unwavering, abides in the essence of the luminous nature of reality. The basis for the arising of the four appearances and the liberation from delusion is: From the very beginning, from that very basis, the appearance of the spontaneously accomplished five lights, when the wind of awareness and wisdom arises outward, within the five spontaneously accomplished sounds of the five lights, like a rainbow, The inconceivable mandala of the peaceful and wrathful deities of the Sambhogakaya, And the five naturally blazing pure lands, And in the world of the six realms of beings, The countless emanations of the six Thubpas (Buddhas) appear as reflections, appearing as self-display, self-arising. From the self-arising of awareness, From such a basis, the appearance of spontaneously accomplished jewels arises. Thus it is said and so on. The way of liberation of Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) is: When the basis appearance arises, at the moment of recognizing one's own nature, one is primordially liberated, The Dharmadhatu and wisdom are inseparable, abiding in the inner clarity of the Dharmata's intention. It is said in the Definitive Meaning Gathering Sutra: At that time, the six dharmas of Kuntuzangpo, By recognizing one's own nature, one goes to the basis. Thus it is said. The six dharmas are: When the Dharmadhatu appearance arises, The co-emergent awareness of the causal condition, The condition of the object is the appearance of light and form, The immediately preceding condition of equality, At the time of the three simultaneous appearances and awareness, The result that does not arise from the cause, is originally accomplished as a Buddha by self-awareness, The Buddha awareness that does not arise from the mind, appears as wisdom, The oral instruction that does not arise from the scriptures, one attains Buddhahood by one's own awareness. Such a first arising is: The supreme glory of the entirety of samsara and nirvana is the noble Kuntuzangpo, And all those who are liberated from the Dharmadhatu appearance, Especially when the basis appearance of the Bardo arises, the measure of liberation is this system. The second meaning, the way in which sentient beings are deluded from that is: When the Dharmadhatu appearance arises, because it is not recognized as self-appearance, it is mistaken by grasping it as other in an instant, and thus one is deluded. Because one does not recognize one's own nature, there is co-emergent ignorance, Because one grasps it as other, there is conceptual ignorance. The five lights become the basis of delusion of the object, and awareness becomes the basis of delusion of the mind, Through habitual patterns, they appear as coarse objects, body, and mind. Furthermore, there are three types of ignorance in relation to awareness, The aspect of not understanding the essence, because one does not recognize one's own nature, there is the ignorance of one self-nature, The nature is clear as light, because one does not recognize one's own nature, there is co-emergent ignora

The ignorance that arises, due to not recognizing compassion as self-awareness, the ignorance of pervasive imputation acts as the first cause of delusion. The three ignorances that arise as object and subject from the four conditions are the causal condition. The appearance of the object, grasping self as other, like a face appearing in a mirror, is the objective condition. The consciousness that grasps duality is the dominant condition. Since these are simultaneous, they possess the four conditions of the immediately preceding condition. The three realms and six classes of beings each wander. In the Mirror of the Heart of Vajrasattva, it says: All these sentient beings of the three realms, from a non-basis, are deluded into anything whatsoever. That basis is also emptiness in essence, luminosity in nature, and compassion capable of appearing to sentient beings. To this, from the grasping consciousness, a part of ignorance, in an instant of change, from the empty husk of consciousness, does "I" arise from "that"? Does "that" arise from "I"? Merely thinking this is delusion. That very ignorance does not exist on the basis, but it exists in appearance. That appearance has four kinds of conditions. That basis exists in the form of a sphere of light, and is called the causal condition. Grasping the object as self is called the dominant condition. Grasping it as an object is called the objective condition. For example, like showing a mirror to a person's face. These three are simultaneous, and therefore called the immediately preceding condition. Therefore, not recognizing one's own appearance as self, the basis of the three realms of samsara is established. From this, afflictions become coarse, and the forms of sentient beings become different. Such a basis is deluded from impurity. Also, in the Guhyagarbha Tantra, it says: Emaho! Possessing the Sugata-garbha, through the karma of one's own conceptual thoughts, manifesting various bodies and enjoyments, and separately grasping as self and what belongs to self. This also includes the scope of the four births: miraculous birth, birth from heat and moisture, birth from eggs, and birth from a womb. Because of not recognizing the self-nature of the key awareness, when deluded, people are mainly born from the womb. Explaining how it is established, in the Union of Sun and Moon Tantra, it says: Those sentient beings who have not seen that, from then on enter the door of the womb, from the causal conditions of father and mother, like soft and slippery, long and round, becoming hard like the form of a fish, like a turtle and like a frog, thus passing through weeks.
