When awareness is directed, all appearances will naturally revert. Like reflections of the moon in water, appearances serve the benefit of sentient beings. If awareness is infused into sentient beings such as humans, even if the five heinous crimes are committed, they can be purified here and enlightenment attained. This is because awareness is the key to abiding in the ground of self-arisen wisdom. At that time, even if awareness is infused into inanimate objects, they will be able to move and make sounds. Second, gaining mastery over entry is: by directing awareness into a finger and placing it in its own state, it will attain enlightenment there without appearing. Third, gaining mastery over wind and mind is: wind and mind become workable, thereby producing all the qualities of wind. When other sentient beings die, by infusing awareness into them, even if the five heinous crimes are committed, they will attain enlightenment together with oneself, because of the key that there is no good or bad in karma. For inanimate objects as well, one can pass through unobstructed, and unobstructed clairvoyance will arise. Fourth, showing the extent of liberation through the four confidences is: The Garland of Pearls says, "The measure is precisely the yoga of the four confidences." And The Heap of Jewels says, "With the four great confidences of unchanging view, the measure of irreversible wisdom is also held." Therefore, the two upward confidences are: even having heard the qualities of the Three Jewels, there is no expectation of attaining them, and no doubt of not attaining them, because one has realized that there is no Buddha other than self-awareness. The two downward confidences are: even having heard of the suffering and lifespans of the six realms, there is no expectation of falling into samsara, and no doubt of falling, because one has known that self-awareness is primordially without delusion, thereby deciding that there is no one who wanders in samsara. The need for these is: temporarily, the direct purposes are accomplished, and ultimately, the higher realization becomes perfected. As it is said in Longsal, "Through the instructions of the marginal support, the qualities above reach the limit." Third, showing the manner of liberation of the result is twofold: the common and the special manner of liberation. The first is, as it is said in Longsal, "The individual who sees the truth, from the first bhumi to the sixteenth, arises through practicing in sequence. The temporary qualities that accord with other systems are the manner of obtaining the result." Like that, having sequentially traversed the bhumis, abandoning the remaining substantial aggregates, one will attain enlightenment.

Furthermore, as it says in the "Heart Mirror": "Manifesting perfect enlightenment will bring about light, sound, body, relics, and earthquakes, etc." It is like that. Secondly, it says in the same text: "Truly perfect enlightenment is nirvana without remainder." Therefore, all the subtle and coarse afflictions, and the grossness of the material body of earth, water, fire, and air are completely purified. The essence expands into the Dharmakaya, so the three bodies are inseparable. The nature expands into the wisdom of knowledge, so wisdom is inseparable. Compassion expands into the activity of compassion, so compassion is continuous. As it says in "Longsal": "Essence is empty, clear, luminous wisdom body. Nature is compassion, without partiality. In indivisible great bliss, one is primordially enlightened." And it says: "The cycle of grasping at characteristics is pacified. The wisdom body itself expands in meaning. It is also called Buddha." It is like that. In the "Illusion Path Stages," it says: "Having remainder and without remainder are explained in reverse. Abandoning the body of karmic maturation, one attains the body of non-contamination, so there is no remainder of the material body of earth, water, fire, and air, which is without remainder. Having remainder is when the material body of earth, water, fire, and air is transformed into the non-contaminated wisdom body, so it has a remainder of the material body of earth, water, fire, and air, and therefore it is called that." The second meaning, the instruction for attaining Buddhahood in the intermediate state with medium diligence, has four parts: First, the nature of the intermediate state is: everything that appears other than the pure basic space is the state of the intermediate state. The appearance of the basic appearance arising as wisdom is the pure intermediate state of reality. All phenomena included in the six realms of confused appearance are the impure intermediate state of confusion. That is, sentient beings with seeds of mind, arising from the pure basic space and not yet perfected in the basic space of appearance, are the intermediate state. Second, the classification, as it says in the "Thalgyur": "Classifying, there are four types." Therefore, there are four types: the intermediate state of birth and death or nature, the intermediate state of dying, the intermediate state of reality, and the intermediate state of existence. The first is: from the establishment of birth in the mother's womb until being struck by the disease of death. The second is: from turning towards death until the cessation of inner breath. The third is: from the cessation of inner breath, the appearance of clear light, until the dissolution of the spontaneous appearance. The fourth is: from the dissolution of the spontaneous appearance until the formation of the future existence. Third
