Oṃ! Firstly, regarding the meaning of the title, there are three points: the translation of the sound, the indication of the name, and the prostration. First, indicating the translation of the sound: In the language of the Buddha Ḍāki, the sound "Eka Dupa Pardesho Aha Kah" is translated into Tibetan, and thus, the name of this tantra came to be known as "One Knowing, All Liberated." Second, indicating the meaning of the name: The term "One Knowing, All Liberated" refers to the fact that merely knowing this single state of spontaneously arisen awareness, which is the root of all phenomena of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, because one knows the root of all, touching this single root, it is called "All Liberated." Third, the prostration: I prostrate to the bindu dharmadhātu that transcends boundaries! This self-aware, single bindu, the great dharma that transcends boundaries, is the common ancestor of all Buddhas of the three times, therefore I prostrate to that pervasive dharmadhātu! This is its meaning. Secondly, regarding the actual meaning of the tantra, there are four points: Who is the teacher? Where? For whom? What meaning of the tantra was taught? The teacher is Samantabhadra and Samantabhadrī, who spoke the teachings from the single space, awakening the retinues of unceasing awareness! The teacher here is the dharmakāya. The place is the single, all-pervasive space. The retinue is the uninterrupted retinue of original awareness. Now, what meaning of the tantra was taught? The empty-clear, single bindu is the root of all saṃsāra and nirvāṇa! This means that the nature of self-aware awareness is emptiness, the radiance of emptiness is unobstructed clarity, and however it appears, it is not dualistic. The nature is the single bindu, and because the basis of this nature is unchanging, it is called "bindu"; because it has no limits or partiality, it is called "dharmadhātu"; because its nature is unestablished, it is called "single" from the subtle perspective; because there is nothing not included here, it is called "one." The root or seed of all saṃsāra and nirvāṇa arises from this. Realizing the meaning of spontaneously arisen wisdom, means that the single bindu mentioned above, because it is spontaneously arisen, it is called "spontaneously arisen." Moreover, this is not newly arisen or found from oneself, but the state that exists before distinguishing between saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, realizing this meaning, it is called "wisdom." As it is said in "Space of Light": The single one is the basis of all saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, spontaneously arisen wisdom arises from itself, knowing it is merely called wisdom. Realizing the meaning, means that observing the meaning of spontaneously arisen wisdom, without root or basis, self-grasping is self-liberated, without having experienced delusion.

When the nature of reality is realized, one understanding becomes proficient in all. Therefore, when this single, self-arisen wisdom thigle, the root of all dharmas, is realized and known, one becomes proficient in all dharmas. Why is that? Because all dharmas arise from the self-display of awareness. How do they arise? "The single, clear radiance is the five wisdoms." Therefore, this single, self-arisen wisdom thigle, whose essence is emptiness, not established as anything, is the wisdom of the dharmadhatu; the self-radiance of the nature of emptiness, the five colors of the self-light of wisdom, unmixed and self-illuminating, is the mirror-like wisdom; these wisdoms, whose root is one but whose names arise separately, are the wisdom of discriminating awareness; these wisdoms, self-arisen and self-illuminating, are one and indivisible, are the wisdom of equality; realizing the meaning of that itself without error, all thoughts spontaneously accomplish, is the wisdom of accomplishing activity. From the root of these five wisdoms arise eighty-four thousand dharma gates. "Eighty-four thousand dharma gates, etc., all the distinctions of bhumis, paths, and vehicles, arise from a single sesame seed." Therefore, from this single, self-arisen wisdom thigle, the self-radiance of awareness arises as the wisdom of four branches. From each of the four arise twenty-one thousand dharma gates, totaling eighty-four thousand dharma gates. From that, all the inconceivable distinctions of ground and, path and, vehicle, arise from the single root of the bodhicitta thigle. From the "Vast Expanse of Clarity": "All dharmas, without exception, arise from a single thigle." The way in which all dharma gates ultimately gather into this single, self-arisen wisdom thigle and are liberated is shown as: "Eighty-four thousand dharmas, all gather into the three categories and three classes of Ati, the outer, inner, and secret cycles of Ati, and the extremely secret, unsurpassed, etc., one understanding perfectly completes all." Therefore, the teacher, the perfectly complete Buddha, with great compassion and skillful means, spoke of eighty-four thousand dharma gates as an antidote to the afflictions of sentient beings, all of which, when gathered together, are contained within the teachings of the three kayas, namely, the three categories of the characteristics of the nirmanakaya, the three categories of the kriyayoga of the sambhogakaya, and the three stages of the generation and completion stages of the dharmakaya. That is, the generation stage and the completion stage.
