It is the severance of the connection of the mind. Knowing this way, the present place of meditation and knowing are not separated, it is the basis of action and effort, the mind's object and the object are empty together, so there is no need to strive, the self-meaning is clear. On that, if the movement of the mind does not turn into various kinds, then the skills of confusion, the reversed knowings will be exhausted, and the meaning of the emptiness of mind nature will appear. On that, if you abide without interruption, then you have obtained the basis of the Buddha's intention, the rope of no connection and no distraction. On that, if there is no artificial dharma, no object and attachment, the mind is at ease, and the mind nature is at ease and clear, and it is integrated into it. Thus, by practicing skills on the beginningless Dharma nature, it shows the emptiness of movement. Now, the second content, in order to show the elimination of the obstacles of the Dharma of craving for happiness and dependence, like this realization, where does that come from? It comes from the self-destruction of all dependencies. Before there was no establishment called "becoming a Buddha", sentient beings also depended on it, how could there be a name? Therefore, establishment is a name, and it is determined that nothing is established by reason. Measuring happiness by the edge of establishment, if it does not appear in the mind, then it is impossible for anyone to find the suffering of the outer body and the inner mind. Therefore, apart from the reason of equality of happiness and suffering, the Dharma that the lama named as "meditate like this" etc. that wants the mind to be happy, arises from the root of the delusion of the un-meditable Dharma nature. That is also from the change or dependence of the upper, the appearance of the lower arises from dependence. Dharma nature has no reason, no upper and lower dependence. Thus, the second general meaning, in order to show the elimination of the obstacles of the Dharma of craving for happiness and dependence. The elaboration of those two is self-extinguished, in order to show that Dharma nature has no effort, it is divided into two branch meanings to show. Now, the third general meaning, relying on the supreme words, showing the difference that surpasses other vehicles, showing with three branch meanings, the first, with seven different words, putting other vehicles on the edge, that is, showing by distinguishing with the view of the Great Perfection. That is, truly surpassing others, the realm of the Great Perfection.

If we differentiate the view of non-transmission through three lifetimes by completely liberating it in an irreversible way, then the words of the scholars of Madhyamaka and Cittamatra, etc., do not benefit enlightenment because they are mere lip service, and attachment is not liberated, so there is no benefit. There is also no harm to them, because those words are just names and are not truly established. If it were that liberation comes from knowing those words, then teaching a child who knows how to speak would lead to liberation, but it does not. If it were that liberation comes from wearing them, then putting them around the necks of animals, etc., would also lead to liberation, but it certainly does not. If one could liberate oneself by oneself, then it would be like a son liberating himself, which is of no help to a person. If it were that liberation comes from reciting, then merely reading medical texts to a sick person would lead to liberation, but it is of no help to the sick person. For example, to a person afflicted with jaundice, who sees a white conch shell as yellow, even if you say, "Your eyes are mistaken, seeing the white conch shell as yellow," he may think his eyes are mistaken, but the clinging to the true appearance of seeing the conch shell as yellow will not be reversed. Similarly, even if you refute it with the tenets and logic of philosophical systems, it is impossible to be liberated from delusion. For example, for a person with jaundice, a skilled doctor does not need to explain with words, but opens the eyes with an eye probe and applies medicine, just as one clearly sees the white conch shell. Similarly, a qualified lama, without needing elaborate words, merely points out the key point, and the person of superior faculty is liberated in the first instant. The person of intermediate faculty, through the key point shown by the lama, relies on understanding and is liberated in the second instant. Even the person of inferior faculty, through understanding that key point, relies on realization and is certainly liberated in the third instant. Therefore, it is not transmitted through three lifetimes. Furthermore, for such a key point, even for a person of sharp faculty and great wisdom, there is no need for many verbal explanations, because there is no need to understand, so it is of no help. Even for a person of dull faculty, if that key point is pointed out, it is impossible not to understand. Therefore, this key point without verbal speculation, even if heard, if it is not generated in one's own mindstream, or if one does not act accordingly, similarly, if thinking is not combined with meaning, and if meditation does not bring the experience of the nature of reality into one's mindstream, even knowing these, if one does not adhere to them but engages in worldly activities, it will instead become a cause for falling into the lower realms, so it is of no help. Furthermore, this key point is shown
