༄༅། །The Explanation of the Six Objects of Mind, so called, dwells here. Forty-Nine Instructions In Indian language: Avalokanaama. In Tibetan language: Called Explanation. Homage to the Bhagavan, the glorious non-dual self-liberated one. The glory that transcends the bonds of the three realms' own continuum. The guru of beings, the Vajradhara himself. Surpassing that, the teaching of the second Buddha. The joyful Vajra, the non-dual blissful one. The definitive essence of the Great Perfection's essential points. The essential point of mind itself, which is not taught elsewhere. Showing the six great objects, overturning the three realms. The letters of the secret, special place. Not the same as all the heart drops. To clarify that meaning, to my guru. Having prayed, I will explain well. Therein, the perfectly complete Buddha, the Bhagavan, with skillful means and great compassion, considering the inclinations or faculties of beings, spoke immeasurable doors of the holy Dharma. From those, condensing the essential meaning into essence, the great teacher Garab Dorje, relying on the six objects of mind that cause enlightenment without meditation, showed that beings are liberated merely by knowing the essential point of Dharma-nature. This is the essential point of arousing the favorable conditions of one person. If the meaning of this is condensed and explained, then with five greatnesses, it is shown to be distinct from the common vehicle, namely, by the greatness of the teacher's history, showing the qualities of the author-teacher; by the greatness of the entrance vehicle, clarifying which tantra is relied upon and the source of the instructions; by the greatness of the necessary person, clarifying what the purpose is, namely, the distinction of the secret mantra vessel; by the greatness of the condensed meaning instructions, clarifying the points of the outline; by the greatness of the profound name, clarifying that the text of the instructions is easily understood. Thus, it is shown with five greatnesses. Those are also considering the basis of assembly, namely, the existence of the five poisons in the continuum of one person. Those are also in terms of major and minor, the affliction of the deluded enters, considering the view without a target as the main one; the angry one enters, considering the view without an antidote.
