Having explained the cutting off of the wrong paths of the grounds and paths, and establishing the root of the mind, now the second content is explained, which is the establishment of the nature of liberation without relying on view and meditation, which is explained by "understanding the arrangement and distinction" and so on. With the arrangement of outer and inner, the nature of form appears; with the arrangement of inner form, the aggregates appear to be inherently enlightened; with the arrangement of secret mind, emptiness is understood to be free from cause and condition; relying on the arrangement of such words, the meaning that cannot be expressed is understood. When such a distinction of four arrangements is directly realized, what is the use of contemplating the phenomena of names and categories established by names? There are no phenomena that are not understood, such as external appearances. What arises from the mind, and the memory of it, the feeling naturally disappears. What is the use of clinging to the mind and the view of greed, and the meditation with objects? Liberation is achieved by simply knowing the key or seeing it. By examining the phenomena of names and categories, one binds one's own mind, and there is no benefit to be gained. Why is that? Because by examining the doer and the deed with the mind, one is bound to the three realms by it. For example, being bound by a rope shackle is the same as being bound by a golden shackle, and there is no difference in the binding. If the mind is bound by the Dharma, then who can liberate it except for the Dharma? If one realizes that body and mind are unrelated, what is the use of a yogi meditating with focused attention and wisdom, thinking that he can liberate the essence of Dharma? There is no need to repeat the nature of Dharma that abides naturally without being cultivated. Thus, the second content is explained, which is the establishment of the nature of liberation without relying on view and meditation. Now, the third content is explained, which is the nature of liberation from the Dharma, the self-disappearance, which is understood by relying on metaphors, which is explained by "self-disappearance and metaphors" and so on. By distinguishing others, there is no other Dharma that is not understood from oneself. This is also not made or transformed by others, but it is empty in the place of emptiness. Disappearance is a metaphor, for example, when clouds disappear in the sky, no obscuration has any benefit or harm. When the waves of the ocean disappear by themselves, there is no fixed place to go. When the consciousness of a madman disappears by itself, the power of memory declines. Sudden conceptual thoughts in the mind

The natural disappearance of thoughts is the cessation of the source of thinking. That is also liberation through seeing the key point. Whatever is seen, as long as the goal is clear, it is like cutting off delusions. Liberation through understanding is like recognizing someone you knew in the past just by seeing them later. Liberation through being accustomed to the key point is like a Brahmin child mastering the foundation of the Vedas. That is also liberation through introducing examples. Therefore, one sees through teaching, understands through seeing, and is liberated through understanding. Therefore, one realizes it at that moment, because there is not the slightest thing to do. How does one know there? First, let the path of arising thoughts, that is, the various movements of wind, enter a state of non-thought. The causes and conditions of seeing and feeling, the various movements cease in the causeless space, therefore, this person is liberated from examining the various names of dharma and desires. These explain the third general meaning, which is to examine the relationship between body and mind, especially to accomplish the merits and faults of dharmata through wisdom, divided into three branches to explain. Now, the fourth general meaning is to determine the way of emptiness, refuting fallacies. It is explained through two branches, the first is to determine the dharma and signs, and to realize them. Regarding this, the thoughts of external appearances are the basis for preventing all examinations, the thoughts of internal senses are the path to prevent the existence of things, and the thoughts of secret movements are the result of preventing memory and awareness. That is also because dwelling in external objects, the causes of arising are naturally liberated, because dwelling in the mind, the arising feelings naturally disappear, and memory and awareness are cut off in the mind, so illusions are naturally eliminated. The nature of mind is fundamentally cut off, which is to reverse samsara from the depths. That is also because the goal is sudden memory, and because it arises from the body, therefore, abandoning the body is the key point of memory disappearing into the source. That itself ceases in a state of being free from the expression of emptiness, which is the unconditioned dharma. The subtle is awareness, the light is wind, and the movement is mind. Awareness naturally disappears, so the door of arising feelings is closed, the wind completes its function, so the basis of conceptualization is empty, and the transformation of mind nature is a sign of reaching the unborn warmth. The above explains the first inner meaning, which is to determine the dharma and signs, and to realize them. Now, the second inner meaning is explained, which is the key point that the cause, condition, and result of mind do not exist. That is also because the mind has no cause in the first place.
