"Rigpa" clings to self. The appearances of the six objects—form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma—arise individually. Thus, by clinging to objects, gradually, the outer vessel and inner essence, various different appearances gather the forms of the six realms such as earth and water. Those who do not know this (other vehicles without this instruction), like children, are like buckets (from one to another) passed down through generations. They take on individual bodies and measures (that is, when knowing various colors, there is no way to prevent distraction; just as wind and bindu arise, the initial way of taking the body is the form of each of the six realms). Having understood the meaning of delusion in this way, the non-erroneous wisdom (the meaning of being primordially abiding) is like this: Just as the sky is without delusion (free from clouds), the non-erroneous awareness (vajra chain) arises, and the non-erroneous sense faculty (without moving the eyes) observes. Thus, knowing the three (the practitioner who practices in a place where other sounds cannot be heard), the yogi should drive in the three pegs. The key point of the body is the nadi (Avadhuti), and focusing and restraining (connected to the eyes, so focusing grasps the appearance; it is connected to the small tip, so it is the method of restraining left and right) are most important. The key point of awareness is wind (because wisdom moves with wind), so grasping (upper wind), drawing back (lower wind), and restraining are most important. The key point of the lamp of the sphere is light (blue), and grasping the time of spreading (the method of suppressing distraction when various colors appear from it, the method of raising sinking when only wind and bindu arise from it) is important. Non-erroneous wisdom is just like that. For the yogi who has attained the three confidences, the nature of appearance is primordially pure, because it is self-arisen (from the beginning) and self-liberated, so (in the end it is also like that), awareness itself (from the beginning, primordially pure) has no possibility of delusion. Because there is no possibility of delusion (the view of self-abiding), it is placed on the ground. Awareness (essence and) appearance (going to root severance and self-purification) are simultaneous, so delusion itself (that itself has no possibility of returning, liberated in that self-nature) is the transformation of the ground. Seven chapters (here the scripture does not show the five chapters, is the scripture incomplete or needs to be investigated), the scripture is complete. Iti. Gya gya gya. The scripture called Differentiation (clarifying its meaning) is the definitive word.

These are the words that lead to realization. Its very meaning is differentiation; its essence, "one's own way of being," is self-aware great bliss; and its other, "shown to be separate from the subject of expression," is abandoning the faults of debate. There are two definitive words: since "sound" shows the "three" times of arising, entering, and ceasing, it is explained as "sound," the "indivisibility of sound and emptiness." That itself is established by wisdom, and one's own "antidote is completely free from others"; therefore, it is explained as consequentialism. If differentiated, there are three types: sound, "the sound of arising, the sound of arrangement, the sound of abiding, and the sound of resonance," four definitive consequentialisms; and the foundational state, "the very foundation," holding consequentialism; and "through examining those sound lineages," the arising condition, the appearing of helpful consequentialism. For example, it is like using a treasury key "to open and enjoy wealth." The need, "what is it?" is to ascertain the meaning of sound in other tantras. What is the pith instruction of the inner meaning? It is shown in three ways: the sound meaning of the symbolic "written and formed" arranged letters, and the self-sound of the forms of the six realms, "the measure by which all of them are known by oneself," and the sound meaning of the five elements, "earth, water, fire, wind, and space." Having definitively settled those "through practice," by taking into practice the non-conceptual "measure of the view of wisdom," all "that appears in this way" becomes one's own helper. The sound meaning of the symbolic arranged letters is: the sound of expressive "speech" and the sound abiding "on the body," and the "written" arranged sound, these three. The expressive sound is a collection of names; the self-sounds of various expressions, etc., are without elaboration in the single bindu, "in the nature of the sound of speech and the sound of arising, etc."; the sound of the other side is resounding emptiness; knowing it to be merely an appearance like an echo; appearance nakedly "liberated" is connected with the means of abiding. When first "a yogi" practices, by cutting off speech, "staying without speaking to anyone, speech is the key," one's own expression ceases; abiding in great non-conceptual meditation, "consciousness as one." The abiding "sound is" on one's own body; the garland of Āli and Kālī abides, "abiding with a garland encircling the heart," "singly in the channels"; how all that is expressed in speech "does not go beyond Āli and Kālī," is the recitation of Āli and Kālī, "the key to not needing to recite mantras."
