Always walking like a mute, because "that is not the degree of maturity either," so from that also, by becoming accustomed to looking, because of "the degree of habituation," it appears like the realm of the Land of Light. The bindus, "as a symbol of the five wisdoms, five families, five bodies, etc., abiding in oneself," transform into five and five, and awareness also, like a bee, "the degree of stability," just like circling around a flower, slightly swaying, between the mind, "where to direct the focus," it goes. At that time, the yogi also, "a sign of not relying on others," rejoices in himself, and "a sign of the appearance of existence dissolving into the Dharmakaya," many dharmas that were previously "" unknown appear in the continuum, therefore, "a sign of abiding in the intention of establishing the basis of appearance and existence," whatever is said, "" to the extent that nothing that is not a word of dharma will come, and "a sign of realizing that the Buddha and one's own mind are inseparable," supreme devotion arises towards one's own lama, and "a sign of realizing the meaning of the nature of reality," the delusion of enemies and friends does not arise. Even that has not reached the limit, and by practicing with familiarity, that light pervades the three thousand worlds wherever one looks. Within each of those bindus, "because of ripening," each body appears. In the intervals of the awareness's "continuous lineage," also, each subtle body arises. Awareness, "not moving from where it is directed," without moving or flickering, remains like a pillar in the place where it is directed, "stability reaching the ultimate," for example, "when it is so stable, there is no waxing or waning of clarity during the day and night," just as a dog's eyes can see during the day but cannot see at night. For that yogi also, "those lights and bodies" there is no cause for being clear during the day and not clear at night. That awareness, "the key to the unchanging ground," from the beginning, has neither become larger nor has it become smaller, therefore it is called neither full nor diminished. At that time, for that yogi also, he will not be overcome by the enemies of the elements, "earth, water, fire, and wind." "A sign of wisdom," he will not be burned by fire. "A sign of compassion," he will not be drowned by water. "A sign of the wind of wisdom reaching its limit," he will not be carried away by the wind, and "a sign of mastering various vehicles," he will enter the earth without obstruction, and "everything dissolving into emptiness," he will fly in the sky like a bird, and "a sign of awareness being liberated from dualistic grasping," all the words of speech will become gibberish, and "a sign of abiding in the posture of sitting," he will forget what he said.

Oṃ āḥ hūṃ! The sign of directly cutting through appearances is being without grasping at what others say, the sign of cutting through the movements of the mind is all memories going without a trace like Walpo (place name), without wavering from light and body is even the appearance of the sun and moon being absent, through purifying into illusion is not knowing how to distinguish between going and staying, in short, all illusory appearances ceasing, which is the measure of proficiency in appearances and awareness. By abiding thus, it is impossible to be separated from awareness not reverting to samsara, the appearance of the dharmakāya! In that state, those appearances also naturally vanish, and after transcending light and color the entity of 'it is like this' is not established, which is called transcending appearance and non-appearance, the intention of the self-purified dharmakāya, the point where all phenomena come to an end. The nature of self-awareness is that from the beginning it has not gone anywhere; without any discrimination of big and small, decreasing and increasing, and good and bad aspects, it abides beyond delusion and liberation. At that time, nothing else is established anywhere, but it abides merely as one's own face being clear from the aspect of the compassion of the ground. The yogi, because the compassion of power is unceasing, also has various kinds of clairvoyance arise, and because mind and mental events are exhausted, thoughts all naturally vanish and come. The impurities of the aggregates do not revert back but accomplish Buddhahood. If a person of good lineage completes the previous preliminaries and in that state, if the wisdom of awareness does not mature and life is interrupted, there may be doubt about attaining Buddhahood in the first bardo. Thus, if those words are also spoken to a fortunate one, then one should act with these three words. Admonishing the object of the instructions, Alas! Son of good lineage, make the key point of the body like a lion! Without changing the eyes, the key point of the channels, and the awareness, the key point, look at the sky between your eyebrows! Look at this actual awareness, flickering like a vajra chain! This appearance arising as light is the key point of the result, the appearance of the three kāyas, so from today onwards, there is not even a particle of difference between Vajrasattva and you! These are the three words of instruction. To summarize: Make the way of sitting of the body like this! The object is the sky, cloudless! By looking at the awareness, flickering like a vajra chain, it is actual Buddhahood!
