I pray to the kind Guru. The Guru who has four kindnesses to oneself, The Victorious Ones praised as being superior to all Buddhas. Therefore, from the depths of my heart, I earnestly and respectfully pray to the kind root Guru. From this time onwards, until great enlightenment, May we rely on leisure and endowment in all lifetimes and generations. May we be embraced by the supreme, virtuous, and excellent spiritual friend. May the three trainings be pure, and may the qualities of the grounds and paths increase. May all beings connected with us attain the ultimate supreme state. In particular, may the qualified Vajra Master, Bestow empowerments, may vows be pure, and may the warmth of the generation and completion stages arise. May we quickly attain the Vajradhara state in one lifetime, And may we become the means to guide beings as vast as space. Thus, urged by the words of Secret Lord Prince Senge, a Vajra yogi of illusion, who descended from the immaculate lineage of the holders of great Sutra and Mantra, the Vidyadhara Tshewang Norbu spoke from Gungtang Ra La Za-og Cave on the third day of the white side of the first month of the Earth Dragon year of the thirteenth Rabjung (1928). Sarva Mangalam (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: སརྦ་མངྒ་ལཾ།, सर्बमङ्गलम्, sarva maṅgalam, all auspicious). A Prayer: Pervading All Buddhas and Space Om Svasti. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: ཨོཾ་སྭཱསྟི།, ॐ स्वस्ति, oṃ svasti, Om, auspicious). The nature of primordial wisdom pervading all Buddhas and space, The self-luminous union of Vajrasattva, In the perception of those to be tamed, the form of the Vajra Master, I pray to the feet of the glorious Lama. The conduct of the accomplished masters of India, Through the power of aspiration, the accomplished Tibetan Namkha Nyingpo, The part where his footprints fell is blessed, Activities tame all beings, I pray to him. In all my lifetimes and generations, May I be cared for by the true Lama, may vows be firm, May the warmth of maturation and liberation arise, may the qualities of the grounds and paths be perfected, May the result of Vajradhara be quickly attained without delay. At the request of the monk Tshoje Kunsang Lodro from Sa Dokham Lung, the Vidyadhara Tshewang Norbu spoke at the foot of Jomo Kharek. Sarva Mangalam (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: སརྦ་མངྒ་ལཾ།, सर्बमङ्गलम्, sarva maṅgalam, all auspicious). A Prayer: Vast, Pervasive, and Spontaneously Arising Om Svasti. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning: ཨོཾ་སྭཱསྟི།, ॐ स्वस्ति, oṃ svasti, Om, auspicious). Vast, pervasive, and spontaneously arising Buddha Samantabhadra, The Sambhogakaya Vajradhara with five certainties, The supreme Nirmanakaya, King Shakya, The essence of the three kayas, the union of all, Padmasambhava, The master of the four kayas, the guide, the protector of the mother, I pray to the kind root Guru. In this instant, my body, speech, and mind, Glorious Lama, you

Great Vajradhara, Whose body, speech, and mind are inseparable and equal as one. May I quickly attain the state Where all limitless beings who see, hear, remember, and touch Are perfectly established in such a supreme position. Thus, the glorious vidyadhara, requested by the faithful Shakya monk Lama Rinchen Donyod of Tibet, spoke these words. May it be virtuous! Prayer: Immutable and Free from Elaborations Om Svasti. Namo Guru. Immutable, free from elaborations, self-arisen realm of Dharma, To the Lama, the Buddha, the Dharmakaya, I pray. Lord of great bliss, spontaneously accomplished, with five certainties, To the Lama, the Buddha, the Sambhogakaya, I pray. Showing whatever tames to each, the source of all benefit and happiness, To the Lama, the Buddha, the Nirmanakaya, I pray. Profound, clear, great bliss, inseparable, Samantabhadra, To the Lama, the Essence-body, I pray. Refuge, the Three Jewels, the glory of the complete union of the Three Roots, Protector of all that is stable and moving, the chief of the essence of purity. To the all-pervading, supreme guide, the root Lama, With heartfelt one-pointedness, through the power of this prayer, The essence of the primordial Buddha, the Sugata-garbha, Which is inherently present in the minds of myself and others, The realm of self-nature, clear light, free from waxing and waning, May all adventitious stains be purified! The path that unerringly actualizes Buddhahood, May the blessings of the root and lineage Lamas enter. From the nature of thoughts, without distraction of mindfulness, May I actualize bliss, clarity, impermanence, and peace! May the self-nature of unchanging, inseparable mindfulness be stable, May the skill of one-pointed meditation be perfected, May the movement of thoughtless mindfulness dissolve in its own place, May the wisdom of non-elaboration and immovability be actualized! May the self-knowing nature of non-duality of object and subject Be perfected in the skill of realizing equality, one taste, May mindfulness self-extinguish and awareness be actualized, May spontaneous accomplishment, the kingly way of non-meditation, be mastered! Having attained the stainless Dharmakaya of self-benefit spontaneously accomplished, Through the activity of the Rupakaya for the benefit of others, May all limitless beings quickly be placed In the supreme state of the all-seeing Victorious Ones. Thus spoke the great translator, born in the land under the great Tibetan sun, rich in the wealth of study, reflection, and meditation, at the urging of the speech of the tulku of Lhori, the monk, vajra-holder, Mipham Tenzin Sizhi Yongdrol.
