Said in Tsang (གཙང་) Ru (རུ་) Lak (ལག་) Drepung Monastery (འབྲས་སྤུངས་): Sarva Maṅgalaṃ (སརྦ་མངྒ་ལཾ།, Sanskrit: Sarva Maṅgalaṃ, All auspicious). ༈ A prayer for the long life of the esteemed one. Oṃ Svasti (ཨོཾ་སྭཱསྟི།, Sanskrit: Oṃ Svasti, Auspicious)! Auspicious, all virtues are the essence of the Dharma realm. The immovability of the essence is the heart of the Sugatas. The essence is stainless, it is the Tathagata. May the Tathagata, the Bhagavan, always protect you. The accumulation of merit is the king of wish-fulfilling trees, the mandala of wisdom manifests in the center of the sky. The stainless leaves of virtue flutter abundantly, may the abundant fruits bestow auspiciousness. Like the edge of the sky, may all beings, before being placed in the state of eternal bliss and enlightenment, may the son of the Victorious One, Tshewang Norbu (ཚེ་དབང་ནོར་བུ།), live long for the benefit of beings! May the supreme auspiciousness pervade the realm of the sky, this realm is immutable, constant and firm. Relying on all that moves and is still, the essence is glorious, may this glory always protect us. In all lifetimes, you are my protector, please remember me, may the samaya not be broken, may the guru's wishes be fulfilled, may the qualities of the path and bhumi increase like the waxing moon, may I attain great enlightenment in one instant. In this continent, the chief of all accomplished ones, Padmasambhava, the regent of the Victorious Shakya, Whose messenger is Nubchen Namnying, May the lineage of knowledge be blessed into an incarnate form. Fame fills the snowy mountain earth entirely, Without hidden transformation, supreme for both self and others. Diligently striving in practice, named Tsewang Norbu, I pray that you live for hundreds of kalpas, may your lotus feet be firm. Through the power of this prayer to you for desired aims, May hopes be fulfilled as wished, and whatever you, Having generated the supreme bodhicitta, through the Great Vehicle, All the aspirations made, may they be accomplished for me and all. Thus, taking the word of the root guru, the incarnation of Dzongphu, as a crown ornament, this was spoken by the renunciate vidyadhara Tsewang Norbu, the eminent scholar of literature, Dampa Trinley Tenzin.
