When bestowing blessings with the offering of torma, it is said that a white snake emerged from the root of that tree and went elsewhere. The previous life-tree was so thick and rough that it could not be transported and had to be abandoned. This time, to accomplish the latter life-tree, the venerable one himself trod upon it with his feet, and the root of this tree was definitely more than one bow-length on each side. The top was more than half a bow-length long, and the height was said to be fifty-three cubits. At that time, the vajra song sung was: This place is the sacred place of Guru Padmasambhava, the auspicious land is Tsawa Shod in Nepal, the auspicious god is the chief protector of the world, the glorious and supreme one is of the blue-necked lineage, the great goddess Palmo is unparalleled, is she not the glorious queen of Nepal? She is the enemy-vanquishing deity of all Dharma practitioners, the protector of the glorious vidyadharas, especially the heart-friend of the yogi me. All the eight classes of gods and demons residing in this land are good friends in the practice of enlightenment. The people of this land, many nations and diverse peoples, sing this harmonious Dharma of their respective homelands, and offer it to you, the powerful deity. All the patrons, disciples, and retinues gathered in this place, what are they gathered for? They are gathered for the Dharma, they are gathered for the practice of virtue. May the fruit of this virtuous Dharma be jointly dedicated to you non-humans. For the mandala of bodhicitta, we are spiritual sisters and brothers gathered at the same time. From this time until the essence of enlightenment, may we always gather together. So it was said. At the age of fifty-seven, to transport the life-tree, a grand Dharma assembly was held where fortunate ones gathered in Tsawa Tsashod, and he went to Mangyul to bestow clouds of loving-kindness. At the age of fifty-seven, he celebrated the New Year's festival of the Wood Dog year. Then he went to Nepal. While residing in Kidor, Damchen Dorje Legpa and Gyachen personally came and promised to accomplish the activities, and hymns of praise were composed for each of them. Just as he saw the newly discovered Sanskrit original of the Ratnaśikhīdhāraṇī, the venerable one himself translated it into Tibetan. Then, in order to transport the life-tree, he went again to the region of Tsawa Tsashod. At this time, the letter bestowed upon the parents of Panchen Thamsed Khyenpa in Shang Trashi Tse said:

Therefore, the Vidyadhara, due to the karmic causes of previous lives, held the position of a Lama in Lower Dokham from childhood until the age of twenty-three, experiencing a mixture of joy and sorrow. After that, he became a wandering ascetic, traveling through vast realms. He severed the bonds of samsara, feeling joyful and free. In a state of unexpecting happiness, he wandered in the mountains for more than a decade. Then, he became friends with Situ and wholeheartedly upheld the wishes of the officials for the sake of both the former and latter incarnations of the Zhwa-dmar (Shamarpa). In order to please the attendants, he did everything he could, spending one-third of his life in suffering, and finally made a decision in the Fire Rabbit year. In this way, even practicing asceticism is for the sake of the Dharma, so there is nothing to regret. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning) After that, intending to live a life of ease, he developed the desire to go to Nepal, and after going there, he began to repair the Jarung Khashor Stupa. During this time, many who created obstacles, including Nepalis, inflicted various sufferings, but in the end, the restoration of the stupa was successfully completed without hindrance. After that, he intended to go to southern Bhutan, but first there was conflict between brothers. Then, Wangla received subsidies from China. At that time, most of the government's offering places had a state similar to "break-even," and the first number fell on me. At that time, there might have been gains if I went to Kham, but because I wanted to repair the holy Shingkun Stupa in Nepal, I went to Nepal. I experienced a suffering similar to that of the hot hells. Even so, because the affairs of the stupa were not progressing, it was said that there would be conflict between the uncle and nephew in Ladakh, and that there would be Mongols from above (note: there is a note here), the government's orders were very strict, pouring in like continuous rain, snow, and rivers, and finally arrived in Ladakh. There, he experienced the smoke of border wars and all kinds of suffering brought by humans and non-humans. Finally, through the blessings of Guru Padmasambhava, an agreement was barely reached, but because he came back too late, he arrived in Nepal during the summer heat, and the water was not suitable. The physical condition was not good, but he had to do a lot of work. Everything except water had to be bought, and all kinds of supplies were complete. The restoration had to be done, and in this way, body, speech, and mind seemed to be trapped in a swamp of suffering, but due to unwavering faith in the Buddha, even when facing death, he did not feel any suffering, but joyfully and enthusiastically engaged in virtuous deeds, which was the situation at that time.
