In addition, some inauspicious signs appeared, and in order to eliminate these signs, a large Torma ritual was specially held. The letters from various monasteries in Kham and Dege, which had not been replied to before, were replied to this time, and many messengers from Kham were sent from here. We, the attendants, gradually entered the strong castle where the Yaksha Vaisravana (Tibetan: བསྭེ་ཡི་སྐྱེས་བུ་གནོད་སྦྱིན་) originally resided, which is one of the four great sacred places of Tibet, the real Zangtang Marpo (Tibetan: ཟང་ཐང་དམར་པོ་), which is now known as Zhuoxiu (Tibetan: གྲོ་ཤོད་). On the way, messengers such as the King and Minister of Mukhun Kshetra and the Inner Minister of Zumli Raja, Solkhawa, arrived one after another and accompanied us. According to the requests of the devotees of Legtse (Tibetan: ལེགས་རྩེར་) near the Spra Monastery (Tibetan: སྤྲ་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་), we gave small longevity empowerments and Dharma assemblies. The Monpas also imitated the Tibetans and asked us to give them the Dharma and wealth they desired. The sectarian belief of those kings and ministers was to believe in Sanya's Shila, and the god was Lakshmi, the wife of Vishnu. The King and Ministers of Mukhun Kshetra and the first messenger sent by Zumli Raja returned with gifts. The second messenger seemed to be of noble origin, but seemed to be concealing something about the king's secret affairs. In order to benefit the local people, it was necessary to carefully investigate the king's situation, especially to build a bridge over the Rohita River, the river of Brahma's growth, and to establish the throne in the north. There, we told Zumli Raja that we would not be able to go to that place for the time being, and informed them that the great kings equally protect all the people, and that war is not allowed, etc., using sweet words to comfort them. In fact, we wrote letters to the king's brothers, some of the main ministers, and especially the king himself, and sent gifts, thinking this was a good deed. We also sent our own mount, some gold coins, and the precious decree from the Omniscient Gyalwa Rinpoche (Tibetan: ཀུན་མཁྱེན་རྒྱལ་བའི་དབང་པོ་མཆོག་) from Gyarong (Tibetan: རྒྱ་རོང༌), as well as the exquisite silk gifts sent through the post station. In order to ensure a good harvest for the local people this year, this time we must also work hard to complete it. In general, in this land, I have repeatedly helped others with a pure heart, regardless of my life. Looking back now, although it is a bit depressing, who knows how much I have done to help others extensively.

If land demarcation is not done, such things will definitely be unavoidable in the future. Those who claim to be knowledgeable are speaking insincere words. Among my companions, many sick and immobile people have died. On the tenth day of the Water Upper Month (Tibetan calendar May), a ritual was performed at Ragam (place name). After that, crossing over Droshe (place name), passing through the Mar-yul (Ladakh) region, crossing the mountains there, at the shore of Lake Manasarovar, known as "Manosarovar" in the sacred land, large Torma offerings were made many times, and virtuous deeds such as Tsog offerings were completed. In front of the white slate in front of Mount Kedarnath, the Ladakhi King Khu Dbon sent people to welcome me. There, I also met a merchant from Monyul Kuma King and a priest named Jogi. It is said that the king was a pure descendant of the Chandra dynasty, which was famous in the world in ancient times. Now the king's name is Dis Chandra, and his sect is extremely respectful of the Jogi lineage of the great scholar Goraksha Natha, so I was very happy. Last year, that place was also subject to Paksha's orders. In the month of the forest, the Durga tribe, who do not live there, were severely harassed by hundreds of thousands of troops. Although they have gone to other places now, it is said that they will come again, so I asked for helpful solutions. After that, crossing over Jagoding (Bya rgod lding, place name), I arrived at Upper Gar (sTod sgar) in the Ngari Korsum Maryul. Due to the immeasurable compassion of Gyalwa Rinpoche, the leaders of Upper Gar also allowed me to visit. There, I performed the ritual on the tenth day of Drozhyun Month (Tibetan calendar June). In order to benefit myself and others, I also performed large Torma offerings many times. This year, due to the companions' maladjustment to the water and soil, they were plagued by various diseases, especially dysentery, so it took a few days to recuperate. Officials from Ladakh and other later welcoming parties also arrived there. If the Lhabching within Ladakh could be completed in Hor Month (Tibetan calendar July), it would be a good omen, but it was not possible to rush there immediately. Later, Hor Month (Tibetan calendar August) was slightly better, so Yeshe Gyalpo Khu Dbon and others were notified in advance that they did not need to bring too many troops, just enough people to go to Upper Wamle in Ladakh. I also gradually passed through the guardian deity of Garpa Yiwong (sGar pa yid 'ong), which is the western part of Tibet.
