词义是,梵语为parinata(梵文天城体:परिणत,梵文罗马拟音:pariṇata,汉语字面意思:完全转变),意为完全增长或完全转变。

As a support for placing beings to be tamed in the state of maturation and liberation by continuously raining down the Dharma. As a support for the mind, in the nature of the Dharmadhatu, free from elaboration, directly seeing all phenomena, just as they are, without obstruction, and not wavering from the intention of the Dharmakaya, the nature of the five wisdoms. As a support for mastering the treasury of jewel-like qualities, completely fulfilling the hopes of all beings to be tamed, and for the vast and boundless arrangement of the three secrets. Having mastered the great governance of the four activities, placing limitless beings to be tamed on the ground of liberation and omniscience, and having the power to accomplish the great purpose of benefiting the teachings and beings, spreading the great secret Early Translation teachings, which possess the three lineages and the six greatnesses, from all directions, pervading and expanding to all corners. Raising the white banner of scriptural and realized Dharma throughout the three thousand worlds, and as a support for not perishing, the white banner, exceedingly good and auspicious, with auspicious patterns vividly adorned, day and night, with well-being. Now, in order to bring the final activities to a complete and virtuous conclusion, may all objects of pure white virtue be transformed and increased into the cause of great enlightenment, and may the auspicious and virtuous conclusion of the precious teachings spread in all directions be adorned. As the great accomplished Buddha Shri said: "The three accumulate merit, increase it with vast means, purify it with profound wisdom, and expand it with union dedication." Thus, in order to act accordingly, regarding the nature, definition, and distinctions of dedication, etc., as the great regent Maitreya said: "The aspirations of the steadfast are with intention and desire." As it is said, the nature of dedication is to completely transform all virtuous qualities, both contaminated and uncontaminated, by the power of intelligence, for the sake of the state of non-abiding nirvana. As it is said: "Dedication is the inexhaustible path, it is the nature of spreading and transforming." It is said to be the seed of intention and desire that transforms the root of virtue into enlightenment. Moreover, as it is said in the Ornament of Clear Realization: "Excellent dedication is its supreme activity." Thus it is said. The definition is: In Sanskrit, parinata (藏文:པ་རི་ཎ་ཏ་,梵文天城体:परिणत,梵文罗马拟音:pariṇata,汉语字面意思:完全转变), which means to spread completely or to transform completely.

Eh! Transforming contaminated virtuous roots into uncontaminated ones, or increasing virtuous roots that are about to be exhausted into inexhaustible ones, that is why it is said so. That is, in the 'Perfection of Wisdom Collection Sutra' it says: If attachment arises in the mind during dedication, if there is attachment to Bodhi, if there is attachment to dedicating to sentient beings, then because of attachment, the mind of the place of observation clings to the three. Because there is an object of focus, the dedication is not genuine. It also says: If you cling to characteristics, then it is not a genuine dedication. If you do not cling to characteristics, then it is a dedication to Bodhi. Just like eating good food mixed with poison, clinging to white dharma is also like that, the Buddha said so. Therefore, it is necessary to be free from all characteristics of clinging to the three wheels in order to make a genuine dedication. As it is said: If you know that this dharma will cease and be exhausted, and that the place of dedication will also be exhausted, and that dharma cannot be dedicated to dharma, then like this, thorough understanding is a genuine dedication. As it is said. If we subdivide this pure dedication, in the 'Ornament for Clear Realization' it says: It is the aspect of no object of focus, possessing the nature of non-inversion. Solitude and the accumulation of merit of the Buddhas, are the objects of activity of self-nature recollection. Possessing skillful means and not clinging to characteristics, as well as rejoicing in the Buddhas, and not clinging to the three realms, and the other three dedications of small, medium, and large, are the nature of producing great merit. As it is said. In the 'Five Hundred Verses Perfection of Wisdom Sutra' it says: How a Bodhisattva dedicates virtuous roots, so does he perfect the perfections of wisdom, and approaches omniscience. Whenever even a small offering becomes immeasurable, it should be known that this is a Bodhisattva's skillful means. Why? Because omniscience is immeasurable. As it is said. Expanding with excellent dedication, that is, to the master of all mandalas of the hundred families of the Vajra Acharya, the essence of the assembly of the three roots and Buddhas, with the supreme dharma offering, and abundant resources, gathering together the prosperity and perfection of the three realms of existence, with great faith and reverence.
