Here, taking the vision of the all-knowing as the standard, in order to clarify the pure and boundless phenomena, the mandala path of the pure phenomena abiding as the basis, is elucidated as the foundation. Among them, the purity of these appearances, which is clarified through the generation stage, is the purity of mental fabrication; while the reality appearing as body and wisdom is the unadulterated purity of the nature of things. Therefore, here it is clarified that it abides in the pure and boundless nature of things. Then, from the perspective of appearance, from the central main deity Guru Padmasambhava to the demon Nanne in the charnel ground at the edge, although they appear as the unmixed main deity and retinue, their essence is the nature of the great wisdom of the guru's mind as one taste. The body possesses excellent marks and qualities, the speech possesses the qualities of Brahma's sound, and the mind possesses the three qualities of wisdom, compassion, and power. Being inseparable from the central guru, it is fully and clearly manifested as the essence of great wisdom as one taste. Then, in order to reverse the ordinary dualistic conceptualizations, as soon as the words of invoking the field of merit are uttered, the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain, together with the supports and the supported, comes like a great cloud moving from the sky. Furthermore, all the gurus with whom one has a Dharma connection come like vultures descending on carrion, and one should contemplate them dissolving into the deities and palaces, etc., that are the supports and the supported. The Sutra path requires accumulating merit for countless eons, while the key to perfecting the accumulation of merit in each moment on the Secret Mantra path lies in the field and pure intention. The objects for accumulating merit in Secret Mantra should not be mainly focused on yidams and dakinis, etc. The guru himself is the supreme, excellent, and extraordinary field for accumulating merit, therefore the field is pure, and the intention is pure. For the benefit of others, one wishes to attain the state of union Vajradhara in one lifetime and one body. Moreover, this is not out of great selfishness, but when a mantra yogi observes that all sentient beings possess the nature of Buddhahood, yet have not realized it as it is, unbearable great compassion arises. As Shavaripa said: After acting freely in the self-conduct of realization, when the suffering of ignorant beings becomes manifest, tears arise from the force of unbearable compassion, exchanging self and others, focusing solely on benefiting.

Thus it is. Offering is done with pure objects, offerings emanated from deities, mantras, and samadhi. Therefore, if all the doors of accumulating merit are gathered, they are gathered into seven branches. And if those are gathered, they are gathered into three: accumulation, purification, and increase. Prostration and confession are the branches of purifying sins. Rejoicing and dedication are the branches of increasing. The other three are the branches of accumulating merit. First, prostration is the antidote to pride, because pride is thinking oneself superior in relation to others. In worldly customs, people say they are different from others through lineage, ancestry, and family, saying their lineage is such and such. However, Tibetans have no high or low lineage, no thick or thin ancestry, no big or small bodies, because everyone is a descendant of monkeys, all just monkey children. In terms of Dharma, if one has even a little learning or realization, one's mind becomes arrogant, so it is said, "That virtue rises as a demon." Therefore, if one gives with such pride, it becomes a demon's giving, and giving rises as a demon. Similarly, the six perfections, such as morality, rise as demons. Therefore, "Pride is like an iron ball, water of virtue does not stick." Because one does not see one's own faults and does not see the virtues of others, prostration is the antidote to that. Therefore, do not compete for the head of the line, but honor all those who have broken vows and violated morality. Place them in the position of prostration. If you divide prostration, there is the prostration of excellent seeing, the object of prostration, the prostrator, and the act of prostration, knowing that these three are not discernible, one prostrates with excellent seeing. The middling prostration of familiarized meditation is to emanate countless bodies and countless heads. From countless heads emanate countless tongues. From countless tongues emanate countless voices of praise, and one prostrates. If you think this is the generation stage, it is not, because this is emanating countless ordinary impure bodies, so it is not the generation stage. The lower is the prostration of ordinary people with devotion, there are three: prostration of the body, praise of speech, and prostration of mind's devotion. Among these, the devotion of the mind is the most important, therefore, one prostrates by remembering the qualities of the ocean of refuge. Especially within the Sangha, all those who have broken vows and violated moralit
