Now, when drowsiness and sinking occur, one should know how to relax the senses and listen after stopping them. Listening with sorrow is: when suffering from hunger, thirst, sun, rain, etc., when the Dharma session is too long, there is a great danger of abandoning the Dharma and the Guru. Before accumulating the sin of abandoning the Dharma, one should pray to meet the Dharma and the Guru, and then leave the Dharma assembly. Or generate joy, (thinking) I wasted my previous meaningless life. Now, for the sake of this sacred Dharma, if I endure illness, hunger, thirst, etc., and cut off the pain and heat of all sentient beings, then many evil deeds of going to the Vajra Hell from other Buddha-fields, in the realm of our teacher, this world of karma, can be purified by just a headache. Now, I can exhaust immeasurable evil deeds and complete immeasurable accumulations, so I should listen with joy and excitement. Third, the five non-graspings are: grasping the precious teachings of the Victorious One's scriptural and realized teachings separately. First, not thinking about the meaning, but grasping pleasant and beautiful words like stories, or saying that the entanglement of words must be cut off, thus grasping meaningless strings of words. Second, people who say they are meditators of the Nyingma (Old Translation) school say that the teaching is the taste of words, and one must understand this nature of mind, and then point to the chest with a finger, not looking at the words, thinking that one can directly grasp the naked meaning. The antidote to these two situations is that one must grasp the words and meaning as closely related. Third, grasping due to misunderstanding the expression is: grasping the provisional meaning as the definitive meaning, grasping the hidden meaning as inverted, and grasping the four reliances as inverted. The antidote to this is that one should not rely on the individual, but should rely on the Dharma. Even if the individual has a great reputation, if it does not conform to the path of Dharma, cause and effect, and the Great Vehicle, the individual will not be of any help. If the Dharma conforms to the Great Vehicle, then the individual is also like that, so one should rely on the Dharma. One should not rely on the words of the Dharma, but should rely on the meaning. In meaning, one should rely on the definitive meaning of the two, provisional and definitive. In the definitive meaning, one should rely on the wisdom divided by the two consciousnesses and the two wisdoms. Fourth, grasping wrongly is because grasping the meaning wrongly, so after receiving the teachings of Tantra, one thinks that one can freely engage in activities such as drinking alcohol and sexual behavior, which is wrong.

Secret conduct must be related to timing. That is, when the warmth of samadhi is obtained, and reciting the three syllables (Om, Ah, Hum, body, speech, and mind) can change the color, smell, and taste of alcohol, then secret conduct should be used accordingly. It should be practiced in accordance with obtaining the warmth of being able to kill afflictions through conduct and nourish wisdom through contemplation, and so on. If you do not understand this and do not realize the hidden secrets, but乱乱use the hidden secrets, there is no other place to go except to become demons and Rudras. The fifth mistake is reversing the order, explaining and listening to the main practice before learning the preliminaries. Regarding the preliminaries, practicing the common outer preliminaries and the uncommon inner preliminaries in reverse order. The antidote to this is that one should practice the teachings of the perfectly enlightened Buddha in order, like the rungs of a ladder. Second, regarding the conduct that should be practiced, one should rely on the four thoughts, that is, generate the thought of being a sick person for oneself, and recognize the faults of being afflicted by the disease of the three poisons as the cause and the three sufferings as the result in one's own mind. The others are easy to understand. Among the six perfections, there are six types of listeners and six types of speakers. The first six are real, and the six types of speakers are: giving teachings without seeking gain, praise, and fame is generosity; not satirizing or belittling others is morality; not getting angry when others ask repeatedly is patience; not getting tired of teaching the Dharma day and night is diligence; focusing on words and meanings is meditation; purifying the three spheres and guiding students to generate hearing and thinking is wisdom. The others are easy to understand. Second, the order of the Dharma to be taught is the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment, etc., which are six in number. The meaning of Dharma is also as mentioned above, this Dharma must tame one's own mind, not through matted hair, nor through a wooden staff. Therefore, one must repeatedly contemplate leisure and endowment, etc., in one's own mind. First, there are four types of Dharma that turn the mind, or four types of Dharma that renounce, or four types of Dharma that liberate, which are synonymous with different names. First, through the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment and the impermanence of life, one must turn the mind away from this life. The Four Seals say: If you are attached to this life, you are not a practitioner. Therefore, leisure and endowment are very difficult to obtain, so one must repeatedly think that leisure and endowment are as difficult to obtain as the Udumbara flower, and obtaining leisure and endowment is as meaningful as a wish-fulfilling jewel. Therefore, one must know that the boundary between going up and going down is like controlling a horse with a bit, starting from this human body now, which is human.
