The great being turned away from all samsara and the extremes of peaceful nirvana, because there is no other suffering to be known besides that, so there is no suffering to be known. The samudaya to be abandoned is also karma and kleshas, along with the habitual tendencies of knowable objects, because there is no samudaya to be abandoned besides that, so there is no samudaya to be abandoned. In terms of the path of truth, because one realizes the nature of the two selflessnesses, the ultimate truth of the nature of all dharmas, there is nothing to be relied upon on the path. In terms of the fruit, because one has attained the Dharmakaya of the Buddha, there is nothing else to be attained besides that, so there is no cessation to be attained. Now, the great being turns away from both samsara and nirvana, aroused by great renunciation, and binds his mindstream with the vows of both sutra and tantra of the long path, characteristic vehicle, etc., and meditates on the eight samadhis and the two stages of generation and completion of mantra, which is meditation, and on top of that, realizing the view of the three great ones is wisdom. The realization from shravakas and pratyekabuddhas down to Anu Yoga is discipline. By maintaining the self-nature of the single view of Ati's free-from-elaboration, primordial purity, all thoughts of good and bad are purified and liberated in the space of that great wisdom, and all the obscurations of karma, kleshas, knowable objects, and habitual tendencies are destroyed, and the Dharmakaya of the Buddha is attained. From that, the Rupakaya is without cessation, and the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya perform the benefit of beings. Such an establishment of the four truths was spoken by the teacher, the perfect Buddha, the Bhagavan, the unequaled Shakya King, Shakya Simha. These are said to be the general summary of the teachings. Now, in terms of what is to be practiced, there are three: what is to be abandoned, non-virtuous actions; what is to be accomplished, virtuous actions; and all are shown to be the nature of karma. First, there are two explanations of non-virtuous actions to be abandoned and their results. First, although there is no limit to non-virtuous actions, if one gathers them from the point of view of accumulation, there are ten, such as the three non-virtuous actions of the body. The instigator of karma is the three poisons. As it says in the Garland of Precious Gems of the Middle Way: Attachment, hatred, and ignorance, Actions born from them are non-virtuous. Therefore, the nature of the three poisons is non-virtuous, and

The action initiated by afflictions is called corresponding non-virtue. The one who fundamentally initiates afflictions is, according to the sutra system, the mental events that arise with the mind, and according to the pith instruction system, the consciousness with thoughts. When afflictions arise, they must arise dependent on an object, therefore, greed arises dependent on a pleasing object, hatred arises dependent on an unpleasing object, and ignorance arises dependent on a neutral object. The results are fourfold, etc. Second, the virtuous actions to be accomplished, although there are inconceivable and limitless virtuous actions, if summarized by way of accumulation, they are the three virtuous actions of body, etc. Regarding the initiator, it is said: Without attachment, without hatred, without ignorance, the action produced by that is virtue. Therefore, thinking not to do the ten non-virtuous actions, from now on, even if it costs one's life, thinking not to do the ten non-virtuous actions, that is the discipline of abandoning the ten non-virtuous actions. The special feature of the ten virtuous actions is abandoning killing and saving lives, etc. The results are fourfold. Such non-virtuous actions and virtuous actions, when practicing, one must contemplate by comparing cause and effect. Third, everything is shown as the nature of karma. In the sutra it says: The actions of sentient beings, etc. Karma has three types: purely white karma, purely black karma, and mixed black and white karma. Purely white karma is when both thought and action are virtuous. The result of that is being born in the greatest happiness and wealth of gods and humans. Purely black karma is when both thought and action are non-virtuous, therefore one is born in the greatest suffering of the three lower realms. The third, mixed karma, is when the thought is virtuous but the action is non-virtuous, like a compassionate caravan leader killing a black man with a spear; if there is no selfish attachment, it is like the case where a Bodhisattva is allowed to commit the seven non-virtuous actions of body and speech. When the thought is non-virtuous but the action is virtuous, it is like initiating with the desire to achieve this life's goals, and then performing virtuous actions. Mixed thought and action karma is when sometimes both thought and action are virtuous, and sometimes both thought and action are non-virtuous, therefore the result of that is being born among the humans of the four continents and scattered gods. Uncreated karma will not be encountered, created karma will not be wasted, close
