Therein, the wise men of the inner teachings constantly enjoy, and ultimately, when they realize that it is an illusion created by the pradhāna (Sanskrit Devanagari: प्रधान, Sanskrit Romanization: pradhāna, Chinese literal meaning: chief), the pradhāna (Sanskrit Devanagari: प्रधान, Sanskrit Romanization: pradhāna, Chinese literal meaning: chief) feels ashamed and flees. All the appearances of the pradhāna (Sanskrit Devanagari: प्रधान, Sanskrit Romanization: pradhāna, Chinese literal meaning: chief) disappear into the space of the pradhāna (Sanskrit Devanagari: प्रधान, Sanskrit Romanization: pradhāna, Chinese literal meaning: chief), and when the individual is separated from appearances, they believe they have attained liberation, and they believe that within the heart there exists an inconceivable, constant "self" about the size of a thumb. For example, they believe that the body is like a clay pot, and consciousness is like a small bird. When the body breaks down, consciousness is free to go anywhere. In the Buddhist view, believing in both permanence and annihilation is wrong. All the dharmas encompassed by samsara, nirvana, and the three paths arise from causes. However, beings, including gods, Brahma, Mara, and Ishvara, cannot know how these dharmas arise from causes. The lords of beings, such as King Bimbisara, King Ajatashatru, and Sharpa, etc., cannot know. The six heretical teachers, etc., cannot know. The sons of the Buddha in Buddhism, such as Maitreya and Manjushri, also only speak following the Buddha's teachings, and they themselves cannot know. The reason they cannot fully know is that they have not yet eliminated the obscurations of habit. Nagarjuna, Asanga, and the like, the six ornaments and two supreme ones, etc., cannot know. Disciples, shravakas and pratyekabuddhas, etc., cannot know. Their own paths also only follow the Buddha's teachings, and they cannot know beyond that. Shravakas have four reasons for not knowing: first, they cannot know due to the remoteness of the place; second, they cannot know due to the remoteness of time; third, they cannot know the endless fruit of endless causes; fourth, they cannot know the extremely numerous Buddha dharmas. Therefore, they cannot know. The Tathagata said that both samsara and nirvana arise from causes. The Tathagata speaks of these causes because he has realized the suchness of all dharmas, the ultimate truth, the dharmadhatu, the true limit, the stainless nature of dharma, and the nature of dharma itself. Through the realization and practice of this suchness to the ultimate, completely manifesting and knowing the suchness of all dharmas, the ultimate truth.

Wisdom. By realizing its emptiness, all phenomena encompassed by the three paths of cyclic existence, nirvana, and the path are known simultaneously, like images appearing in a mirror or like a myrobalan fruit placed in the palm of the hand. This is the wisdom of knowing all that exists. It can be divided into knowing all that is to be known and especially knowing what is needed. First, knowing all that is to be known is like knowing all the grains of the city of Lhasbyin, the ashes of the burnt plants and forests in the shade, and like covering the ocean with Kusa grass in order. All that is hidden from Lhasbyin is manifest to the Buddha. As it is said: Even in one colorful spot of a peacock's feather, there are various different causes. Knowing these is omniscience, not because it is not omniscient wisdom. Therefore, this has no great necessity except to arouse some faith in those to be tamed. Especially knowing what is needed is knowing the cause and effect of both cyclic existence and nirvana, knowing the truth of the origin of cyclic existence, the truth of suffering as the result, the truth of the path as the cause of nirvana, and the truth of cessation as the result. In essence, it is knowing the acceptance and rejection of the four truths as they are. How is the cessation of the cause? Outsiders believe that the cause does not need to be stopped, but the result needs to be stopped, for example, not preventing the drinking of poison, but preventing the disease with medicine. However, the result cannot be prevented, so the cause must be stopped, for example, if you do not drink poison, you will not get sick. Therefore, it is necessary to stop the cause of future lives and all afflictions of the origin, and the way for the three types of persons to stop the cause is: First, in order to accomplish the path of liberation, enlightenment, and complete enlightenment, one must obtain a special physical basis. Therefore, the inferior person knows the three lower realms as suffering, and in order to be liberated from them, seeks the position of gods and humans in the higher realms with a desire for liberation, thereby abandoning the ten non-virtues and practicing the ten virtues. On top of this, by practicing the eight samadhis of the immovable karma, one can obtain the position of gods and humans in the higher realms, and their virtuous karma can stop non-virtuous karma, but cannot stop afflictions. Both the intermediate and great persons turn their minds away from the six realms of existence, thereby abandoning the cause and effect of cyclic existence and taking the cause and effect of nirvana. That is,
