There are two types of power: mundane and supramundane. Mundane power involves, through the gateway of the five poisons, solely through hatred, even if one takes the life of an enemy or sentient being, one will not conquer the enemy nor gain power. One will not attain liberation or enlightenment, but will instead be reborn in the three lower realms. Therefore, what is the use of mundane power fueled by hatred? It only gives rise to hatred again, and one must continue to act until death. It is said that there is no end to such power. Supramundane power, referred to as great power, is so because it is a vast power. Through the power of realizing unborn, primordial purity, one can simultaneously slay all the enemies of affliction, such as the ego, the five poisons, the three poisons, and so on, who prevent the root of samsara from attaining liberation. Therefore, it is endowed with great power. "Cherishing" means cherishing those who are fortunate. "Holding" means that those fortunate ones cherish and hold the guru's instructions. "Not relying on other systems" means that this commentary is extremely important and does not rely on the views and practices of other systems. "Lord of speech, master of speech, skilled in speaking" means that the Lord of speech is Manjushri, the master of speech is the Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha, and skilled in speaking refers to the sixty qualities of the Bhagavan's speech. "Having power over speech, speech is endless" means that Shakyamuni Buddha has power over speech, and endless speech belongs to Manjushri and Vajrapani, the lords of knowledge. "Speech is true, speaking truthfully" means that true speech is the Bhagavan's teachings, and those who speak truthfully are Manjushri and Vajrapani. "The four truths are the teachers" means that this should be understood as nine or ten syllables. This phrase indicates the four truths of the Shravakas: the truth of suffering, the truth of the path, the truth of the origin, and the truth of cessation. Similarly, there are the four actions of the Pratyekabuddhas, the two truths of the Bodhisattvas, the four activities of Kriya, the four types of Upaya, the four types of miraculous powers of Yoga, the four mudras of Maha Yoga, the five wisdoms of Anu Yoga, and the four great principles of Ati Yoga—these are the four truths. The four truths of Spyi-ti are the four great collections of teachings. The teacher is the great secret lord or

The master is Garab Dorje! "The irreversible one, the non-returner." The irreversible one is the Bodhisattva. The non-returner is the Shravaka. Or, according to this commentary, the irreversible one is Vajrasattva, and the non-returner is Dharmakaya Samantabhadra. "The guide is like the way of the solitary rhinoceros," meaning it teaches the vehicle of the solitary realizer. The guide is the one who leads out of the swamp of samsara. The solitary realizer is the one who, without a teacher, understands the meaning by analyzing and explaining the aggregates, hence the solitary realizer. "Like the way of the rhinoceros" is shown by example, just as the rhinoceros lives alone, so too the solitary realizer is like the Neso who flock together, and like the rhinoceros who lives alone. "Arising from various liberations," "liberation" is from the general Atiyoga vehicle. "Various" means arising from various profound instructions such as unborn original purity. "The great elements, the single cause," "elements" are the four: earth, water, fire, and wind. "Great" is the sky. "Single cause" is emptiness, or it is single in unborn original purity. "Bhikkhu Arhat, exhaustion of outflows," "Bhikkhu" is fourfold: non-virtuous Bhikkhu, begging Bhikkhu, ordained Bhikkhu, and the Bhikkhu of true meaning. "Arhat" is the Arhat who has conquered the afflictions. "Exhaustion of outflows" refers to the four outflows: desire, existence, ignorance, and views. "Exhaustion" means the exhaustion of all habitual tendencies. "By being free from desire, the senses are subdued," "free from desire" means being free from the desire of the ninety-eight afflictions and ordinary desire, thereby subduing the senses of affliction on the path of meditation. "By finding bliss, fearlessness is attained," "bliss" means finding true bliss, that is, realizing the view of unborn original purity, thereby attaining freedom from the fear of samsara. "Having become cool, there is no turbidity," "cool" means that for those who are tormented by the heat of afflictions and are extremely distressed, the instructions of the supreme lama bring coolness, so that there is no turbidity of the five poisons and three poisons of afflictions. "Having intelligence and feet," "intelligence" refers to wisdom, and "feet" refers to skillful means. "Having" means skillful means and

Endowed with non-dual wisdom. To whom is it endowed? It is endowed to the yogi who practices this tantra. "Sugata, the supreme of worldly knowledge." Sugata has three aspects: going without error, going with realization, and going without return. The world refers to sentient beings who rely on the destruction of the vessel world. The supreme of knowledge means knowing that its meaning should be done. Because of knowing and realizing, it is said to be the supreme of knowledge. Not grasping as self, not grasping as mine. This means showing the instructions. "Self" refers to the afflicted mind looking inward and grasping the alaya as self and mine. "Not grasping as mine" means that the consciousness of the mind looks outward, follows the five senses, and does not grasp the five external objects as mine. This is the instruction. Not grasping object and mind as two, there is no duality in rejecting, establishing, abandoning, taking, enemy, friend, partiality, good, bad, and discrimination. Not grasping as mine is the instruction of being separated from everything. Not dwelling in taking and abandoning, abiding in the state of equal kingship. Thus it is said. Abiding in the nature of the two truths. This means showing the tenets or views of the Madhyamaka school of the Bodhisattva vehicle. These two truths are the conventional truth and the ultimate truth. There are two tenets: the Mind-Only school and the Madhyamaka school. Mind-Only has two: those who accept appearances as true and those who accept appearances as false. "Appearance" means that the appearance of phenomena is accepted as true in the mind, and "appearance" means that it does not exist and is not accepted as true. The Mahayana Madhyamaka school accepts two truths, ultimate and conventional. Among them, the conventional truth has two: the valid conventional and the false conventional. The valid conventional is endowed with four qualities: arising from causes and conditions, appearing gross, appearing concordant, and being able to accomplish meaning. The false conventional also has four: rabbit horns, barren woman's child, sky flowers, and turtle hair. Although they appear, they do not appear, and although they accomplish meaning, they cannot accomplish it. The appearance of the valid conventional appears, and the accomplishment of meaning can also be accomplished. The ultimate truth has two: the nominal ultimate truth and the non-nominal

This is not the ultimate truth of the mundane. Among them, the truth of characteristics is to be free from the eight extremes of elaboration. The ultimate truth without characteristics is the eighteenfold emptiness. The ultimate truth, the eighteenfold emptiness, does not abide in itself, nor does it abide in any extreme. To abide in the way means the vehicle of the three characteristics. Having reached the far shore of samsara. Samsara means going to the cycle of karma and afflictions, and reaching the far shore means reaching the far shore of non-abiding nirvana through the oral instructions of non-birth. Having done what was to be done, abide in the dry land. It means that because what had to be done before has been done, there is no need to strive now, and abide in the great dry land of primordial purity. Born only from wisdom. It means that "ye" is the wisdom of primordial purity. "Only" means without any other mixture. "Born from" means that the ultimate truth arises from the wisdom of realization. Destroying everything with the weapon of wisdom. It means that it is the wisdom that decides all the laws of wisdom. A weapon means that among the many weapons that can cut, the weapon that cuts off the internal and external gains is the weapon that surpasses all weapons. Destroying everything means destroying the conceptualizations of the eighty-four thousand afflictions. Possessing the excellent Dharma King of Dharma. It means that Dharma refers to the correct oral instructions. Dharma King refers to the one who overcomes the Dharma of cause. Possessing clarity means that the meaning of primordial purity and clarity is clearly possessed in oneself. It is the supreme light of the world. It means that the world refers to sentient beings who rely on destruction. What illuminates is supreme, because the oral instructions of unborn primordial purity are clear and vast, so it is supreme. The freedom of Dharma, the king of Dharma. It means that Dharma refers to the Dharma below Anu, which is the meaning of the ten virtues. Freedom means having freedom over the essence of non-birth, and being rich in the Dharma of cause and effect, so it is freedom. The King of Dharma refers to the one who overcomes the Dharma of the nine vehicles above Ati. In general, Hevajra Yoga surpasses other vehicles and is the essence of the eighty-four thousand Dharma aggregates, therefore, it surpasses the Dharma of other schools, so it is said to be the King of Dharma. The guide of the path of goodness. It means, Anu below...
