Having mastered debate and become a thinker for the benefit of sentient beings, having entered into correct meditation, he saw the situation of the fourteen unpredicted things, and through meditation and speculation, the systems of sixty-two views based on past and future lives, such as those individual views of preference, all rely on the basis of the view of the aggregates of destruction. Through reasoning, he negated the existence of "self" and taught the Dharma through the path of correct reasoning, placing countless sentient beings on the irreversible path. Furthermore, when the ascetic named Immaculate Wisdom, who possessed great miraculous powers, became detached from the path of outsiders, he examined what exists that gives rise to views, and what does not exist that does not give rise to views. He saw that if there are three groups of darkness, all views arise. What are those three? Did I exist or not exist in the past? Similarly, contemplating the present and future, he reasoned that various views of speculation on the two extremes arise because of doubt and failure to understand the meaning. Through proper consideration, the eye of wisdom arose, and even though there is no "self" or sentient being here, he saw the profound Dharma of dependent origination, where karma arises from afflictions, and the aggregates of ripening arise from karma. He understood that no Dharma arises or ceases except from conditions, and having obtained forbearance in the unborn Dharma, he placed countless beings in non-self. Furthermore, when the ascetic named Wise Wisdom, who was detached and possessed great miraculous powers, entered into correct meditation, he had this thought: Alas, this world is affliction, and it is very difficult to escape from suffering. He also thought: What is the path to escape from suffering? He thought that suffering arises from thoughts, and if there are no thoughts, it does not arise. Like that, the cessation of all thoughts and desires is Nirvana, which is peaceful and abundant. He also thought, are there some sentient beings who have not attained Nirvana existing in Nirvana? When he properly considered these things, if there were any sentient beings who could enter Nirvana, then because there are no sentient beings, Nirvana

There is no transcendence. However, the harm of suffering arising from the consciousness of sentient beings themselves, beings seek nirvana, nirvana is not other aggregates, nor other aggregates, but the aggregates themselves are nirvana. Why is that? It is thought that not clinging to sentient beings is nirvana. After rising from that samadhi, proclaiming after the sound, one's own complete discriminations are: the aggregate of suffering enters, without complete discrimination, the aggregate of suffering will cease. No sentient being is born, no dharma ceases, there is no dharma other than discrimination, that is called nirvana. After hearing that sound, countless sentient beings obtained forbearance of the unborn dharma, and became non-returning from the unexcelled perfect enlightenment. Again, when the Brahmin boy became Supreme Wisdom, a sage named Sound Manifestation appeared, who had great magical powers and was without desire, from him, the Brahmin boy, together with ten thousand attendants, recited the secret mantra of the four great elements being non-different, abiding in the equality of the three times. At that time, the Brahmin boy Supreme Wisdom was the chief of all those attendants. All the secret mantras held by the seven thousand Brahmin boys, he alone could remember, and soon after reached the other shore of all vidyas. That Supreme Wisdom boy thought: what is the use of holding this meaningless secret mantra whose meaning is not known? Its meaning should be sought. So, he stayed there in a solitary place, entered into samadhi inwardly, thinking what is this secret mantra? If it is a wind mandala, then it is without foundation and without a place to dwell. What is produced by the wind mandala cannot be established in directions such as east. There, peace, taming, and subduing are not visible. Why? Because there are no sentient beings. After examining in this way, he thought that the Brahmin boy and the Khenpo were dwelling on a wrong path, thinking that this would produce afflictions. At that time, the gods of the Pure Abode manifested their bodies from the sky, and praised him, saying: Well done! Son of good family, you have followed all the Tathagatas well, and have understood the path well. This path is the Buddha

It is said that Buddhas, more numerous than the dust particles of a billion worlds, having attained Buddhahood, performed the benefit of immeasurable beings, and have passed into nirvana. He arose from that samadhi and spoke those words to seven thousand Brahmin youths together with their preceptor, and they irreversibly turned away from unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, attained Buddhahood, performed the benefit of beings, and passed into nirvana. The Bodhisattva Supreme Intellect thus upheld the Dharma of the Thus-Gone Ones.

As soon as the thought of escaping evil deeds arose, he was transferred from hell to the presence of a teacher who possessed various kinds of knowledge. There, he listened to the Dharma taught by the teacher until he attained the state of an Arhat. Furthermore, when the king's son became known as "Compassionate One," he wondered, "What is the cause of the various phenomena that appear in the world, such as colors, shapes, sounds, castes, lineages, and names?" He sent messengers in all ten directions to find out if there were any renunciates, Brahmins, or teachers who knew the answer to this question and could dispel his doubts. Then, the young man's father, who was very concerned about him, said to the young man, "By seeking the inconceivable with an inconceivable mind, you will only become entangled in afflictions and conflicts, and it will not lead to any conclusion, because there is no answer to that question. Young man, you should enjoy the kingdom and the pleasures of the senses. Abandoning meaningful pursuits and contemplating meaningless things will only bring you affliction and fatigue." The young man replied to the king, "Great King, please do not mistake darkness for light. In your kingdom, there are distinctions between good and bad in terms of appearance, lineage, and intelligence, as well as distinctions between poverty and wealth. Similarly, there are those who learn skills, those who are poor who strive to gain wealth, and those who are sick who recover through treatment. In these examples, if the causes of these things exist, then I do not understand them. The fact that I do not understand something does not mean it does not exist, because there are many skills that I do not understand, and the skills that I do understand cannot be understood through other skills. Great King, those who know these things do exist, but I do not yet know them. Therefore, I will inquire with those wise, intelligent, and respected renunciates and Brahmins." The king said to the young man, "Then go and inquire." At that time, the Tathagata Starlight appeared in the world. As the compassionate young man slept, he heard a voice from the sky saying, "The Tathagata Starlight dwells in the world, and he will prophesy your question." The next morning, he told his father the king about this. The king said, "Young man, where does that Tathagata Starlight dwell? Go there."
