请宽恕我，当您成佛之时，也请记得我。菩萨说道：迦尸迦宽恕会那样做的，我也会记住的。在那期间，菩萨的神力使赡部洲各地，从天空中降下天人的珍宝雨，充满了各种装饰，天人的光芒也照亮了一切。之后，住在山里的仙人看到这奇妙的景象，心想这是怎么回事呢？住在仙人住所的其他天神向那位仙人详细地讲述了这件事。那些仙人对菩萨的如此苦行感到汗毛竖立，心想这是值得尊敬的大士啊。于是，那位仙人带着五百眷属，带领王妃胜光，迅速地来到菩萨面前，与国王交换了寿命，与帝释天一起说了偈颂，然后将王妃归还，并祈请说：无论何时都不要赐予他人。国王对仙人和帝释天的祈请没有说话，表示答应了。之后，帝释天说：为了各种事务，我将安排狮子宝座，并且亲自为国王吉祥军灌顶。正如所说的那样，天人的狮子宝座，以各种珍宝装饰，显现了出来。帝释天亲自用双手扶着，将他放在狮子宝座上，与成百上千的天人一起，敲打着天人的乐器，以盛大的敬意为国王灌顶。当时，大地摇动，降下了花雨。之后，帝释天带着成百上千的天人回到了自己的住所。那些仙人也赞颂了菩萨，然后回到了自己的住所。之后，菩萨国王吉祥军受到广大民众的敬仰，长久地成为了正法之王，用财富满足了赡部洲所有贫困和不幸的人，并将他们安置在十善道上，将他们分配到六欲天，在另一个时期，与成百上千的众生一起去世，转生到了兜率天。就这样，这位导师成为了吉祥军国王。

In the meantime, by the power of the Bodhisattva, in all of Jambudvipa, from the sky fell a rain of divine jewels, filled with various ornaments, and the light of the gods illuminated everything. Then, the hermit dwelling in the mountains saw this wondrous sight and wondered what it was. Another deity dwelling in the hermit's abode explained this matter in detail to that hermit. Those hermits, feeling their hair stand on end at such austerities of the Bodhisattva, thought, 'This is a great being worthy of respect.' Then, that hermit, with five hundred attendants, leading the queen Victory Light, quickly went to the Bodhisattva, exchanged life with the king, and together with Indra spoke verses, then returned the queen, and prayed, 'Never give her to another.' The king, without speaking, agreed to the prayer of the hermit and Indra. Then, Indra said, 'For various tasks, I will arrange a lion throne, and I myself will consecrate the king Auspicious Army.' As he said, the divine lion throne, adorned with various jewels, manifested. Indra himself, holding him with both hands, placed him on the lion throne, and together with hundreds of thousands of gods, striking the divine instruments, with great reverence consecrated the king. At that time, the earth shook and a rain of flowers fell. Then, Indra, with hundreds of thousands of gods, returned to his own abode. Those hermits also praised the Bodhisattva and then returned to their own abodes. Then, the Bodhisattva King Auspicious Army, revered by a great multitude of people, became the king of Dharma for a long time, satisfying all the poor and unfortunate in Jambudvipa with wealth, placing them on the path of the ten virtues, distributing them to the six desire realms, and at another time, together with hundreds of thousands of beings, passed away and was born in the Tushita heaven. Furthermore, in the past, when people's lifespan could reach eighty-four thousand years, the Blessed One himself was a king named Golden Hue, who, with his form, power, and vast enjoyment, gave to all whatever they desired and did not take lots or anything like that. At that time, in another period, Brahmins who knew omens said that there would be no rain for twelve years, and a famine would occur. The king was displeased and thought: "If that is the case, the rich will survive, but what will the poor do?" So he collected all the food of Jambudvipa and piled it up like a mountain, and had the accountants count all the people of Jambudvipa and then distribute the food equally. There, for eleven years, no one died. When the twelfth year came, from about eleven months remaining until one month remaining, many people died of starvation. At that time, all the food of Jambudvipa was exhausted. King Golden Hue had only a small handful of food left. At that time, a Bodhisattva who would practice for forty kalpas went to this Saha world. The Bodhisattva saw a mother and child sleeping in a forest and thought: "Alas, affliction dwells in her womb for nine months, drinks her milk, and then treats her like that. Then, with his divine eye, he looked at this Jambudvipa and saw that all food was exhausted. He saw that King Golden Hue had a small handful of leftover food. Then he thought, "I will take it with compassion for him and eat it." Then, like the king of geese, he flew into the sky and landed at the golden palace of the king, where King Golden Hue was sitting on top of a mansion with five thousand ministers. He spoke and said that he had come for food. The king shed tears and said, "Although I rule Jambudvipa in this way, I cannot give alms to a single righteous one." "Steward, if there is a little food and drink in the house, offer it to this righteous one." He said, "God knows, all the food is exhausted, and there is only a handful of God's leftovers." The king thought, "If I eat it, I will live, but if I don't eat it, I will surely die." He thought again, "Even if I eat it, I will surely die, so I will be content with living. I should offer it to such a worthy object." Then he gathered his attendants and said, "Alas! This is the last offering of King Golden Hue. Rejoice in it! May this root of virtue completely cut off the poverty of all the people of Jambudvipa." He poured the small handful into the alms bowl of the solitary buddha and gave the alms bowl to his right hand. He took it and ascended into the sky. The king watched with his palms joined until he could no longer see him. Then the king said to his attendants, "Go back to your own places! Do not die here of hunger and thirst!" They said, "We serve the god, rejoicing and delighting in serving when you have wealth and fortune, but how can we bear to abandon you at such a time?" Then, on the second day, for seven days, rain of wealth and grains fell. Like this, sesame and thick rice, etc., all kinds of grains rained down. Then, for seven days, rain of ghee fell, for seven days, rain of sesame oil fell, for seven days, rain of fine cotton cloth fell, for seven days, rain of various kinds of food fell, for seven days, gold, silver, crystal, lapis lazuli, red pearls, the essence of gems, and coral, these seven precious things rained down, and through the power of King Golden Hue, the poverty of all the people of Jambudvipa was eradicated. ༈ Again, in the past, in this Jambudvipa, when people's lifespans could reach immeasurable years, there was a king named Guspa-can or Gso-sbyong-pags, who ruled over eighty-four thousand small kingdoms, had eighty thousand consorts and attendants, and countless ministers. At that time, on one occasion, a fleshy tumor like an egg appeared on the crown of King Gso-sbyong-pags's head. That tumor was clear and painless, soft and light, and gradually grew larger, becoming as big as a gourd. When it split open, a handsome, golden-colored youth with dark blue hair emerged from within. A soothsayer prophesied, 'This child possesses the signs of extraordinary qualities; he will become a Chakravartin king ruling over the four continents.' And the child was named Spyi-bo-skyes (Born from the Crown). When he was born, milk naturally flowed from the breasts of all the consorts, and each of them said, 'I will nurse him,' therefore his name was also called Nga-las-nu (Nursed by Me). He rejoiced and played with the great wealth of the kingdom.
