Victorious Bhagavat, all-knowing in every way, possessing all distinct wisdoms, as a means to subdue all beings, Bhagavat Vajrasattva and others, the five families of Sugatas, along with the supreme family of mantra-holding mothers, the assembly of bodhisattvas as retinues of the victorious ones, mandalas of the mothers, etc., great lords of great wisdom, possessors of skillful means, yogis with the nature of dakinis, the essence of the complete nature body. I request that you, the ocean of victorious ones with your retinue, listen and remember. I request that in this mandala of our assembly, the mandalas that have gathered and assembled, first, we pledge at the secret gate, and firmly resolve the strong samaya in our minds. Having taken the vows of decay, deterioration, and destruction, and the root and branches, we will protect them as instructed, without delay. Having taken the vows of protection, due to the power of ignorance and unawareness, we could not endure the causes of happiness and suffering. The three doors of faults blazed like fire, burning the continuums of ourselves and others, and we have not attained the faultless signs. We confess the broken vows of protection. Om Vajrasattva, etc. May all deteriorations, whether conscious or unconscious, be purified. May we not commit such deteriorations, whether conscious or unconscious, in the future. From the purification of the place and the continuum, may we never turn back in the future, and may we never be separated from the mind of enlightenment. May our wisdom be sharp and our senses clear. May we become wise beings, and for the benefit of sentient beings, may we obtain the power to accomplish all things. In all our future lives, may we repay the kindness of our teachers and follow in repaying the kindness of our parents. May we be vessels worthy of receiving the secret instructions. In this life and in future lives, may we be free from all accusations of faults, and in all roots of virtue, may we obtain qualities in full measure. I request that we practitioners gathered here, when accomplishing the roots of virtue, may you subdue and accomplish the obstructing enemies, the three: those who steal union, and the harmful obstructors, through the activities of pacifying, increasing, subjugating, and wrathful, suppressing, averting, transferring, and scattering, just as the four activities of taming are appropriate. Thirteenth, place the mudra of the single vajra peak at the heart. The twenty-one vows, or Om. For the sake of sentient beings, generate supreme diligence, and with wisdom and compassion, remember us.
