I prostrate and praise Yama, the slayer! May he reduce hateful enemies to dust! Signs of praise and the like should also be done. The order of recitation is clear in the Abhisamayalankara and the root text. After completing the recitation, offer a torma to the yidam and perform the praise. The four Karma Yamas and the directional guardian Yamas circumambulate Yama's slayer a thousand times and then praise him: Hūṃ! Mañjuśrī's wrathful form, glorious Yama's slayer! Immutable in the nature of reality, your body is blazing dark blue-black. You wear the eight ornaments of the charnel ground, acting bravely. Displaying three heads of non-harmony, you engage in actions, wielding power, wrath, and peace. Subduing enemies and obstacles, you wield various weapons. Subduing gods and demons, you gnash your teeth in wrath. Not abandoning attachment, you embrace your consort. The fire of hatred blazes, the liberator destroys the enemy's heart. Subduing enemies and obstacles, your retinue acts as messengers. Gathering all under your power, you recite fierce mantras. I prostrate and praise the valiant and majestic Yama's slayer! Make a condensed offering. Elaborate, condensed, and medium, according to the occasion. Invite the Karma Yama and request him to be seated. Then, to the yidam and dharma protectors, offer a tsok offering and recite the fulfillment verses. After praising, enjoy the tsok. Also make leftover offerings. Then offer a torma to the Karma Yama and praise him. The tsok and fulfillment verses, the torma ritual of the Karma Yama, etc., are explained elsewhere. Aspiration: May the physical accomplishment of all Buddhas, endowed with the thirty-two major marks, the eighty minor marks, a fathom of light, the one hundred and forty unmixed qualities, adorned with the white hair between the eyebrows, and the inconceivable qualities of a great body, be attained! May the speech accomplishment, endowed with sixty branches of melodious voice, be attained! May the mind accomplishment, endowed with the wisdom of omniscience, be attained! This is done after reciting the fulfillment verses. Before the torma of the Karma Yama. Then, to urge the wisdom deities for the benefit of sentient beings: Measure the torma and smear it with red. Make great incense offerings and loud music. With a terrifying voice, say this: Hūṃ! Blessed One, great and glorious wrathful king, Yama's slayer! Although you have not moved from the state of peaceful reality.

To subdue the unruly, you emanate as the wrathful king. With three heads, six arms, and four outstretched legs, you possess three liberations, saving beings with your feet. With wisdom teeth bared, you liberate enemies and obstacles. Your beard and mustache, yellow and black, bristle upwards. A thousand dragons roar from your ears, and whirlwinds rise from your nostrils. You subdue the hosts of demons, assigning them to tasks. Possessing a body of wisdom, your nine eyes press down on the nine grounds. Fire blazes from the eyes, and blood drips from the nose. A pattern is drawn with great ashes and rakta oil. Adorned with the secret red bindu. You are the lord of all human and livestock diseases. Riding on a mule, a horse, and a three-legged beast. A powerful mother who runs in all charnel grounds. The chief of the Mamos runs for eighty thousand leagues. The oath-bound mistress of the mantra-holding yogi, my mistress. Quickly seize and liberate my enemies and obstructors. Please accomplish the entrusted task. Then, the summoning of Yama Raja: Hūṃ! Lord of pride, wrath, and bodhicitta. A son emanated from the heart of the inseparable father and mother. Yama Raja, the form of a small blue boy. Residing in the midst of blazing dark blue flames. Adorned with skull garlands and other charnel ground attire. Subduing the mother ghosts of the charnel ground. Body color black, like coiled great poison. Riding on a great black wave, radiating light. Riding on a buffalo and an elephant, blazing with light. The Yamas of karma turn their heads. Subduing the wicked with fierce anger. A swirling sea of blood, possessing the attributes of power. Subduing with the sharp wisdom, with a fierce form. Protecting all oath-bound ones, protecting the wealth of the Three Jewels. Gathering the oath-bound ones, the unchanging Vajra one.
