Also pray that by this alone, they may be reborn in the happy realms and heavens, and if done so, they will be reborn as desired, and the manifestation of the body, etc., will be as before. Even if one commits the five heinous crimes, abandons the sacred Dharma, or slanders the noble ones, if at the time of death they see this dharani mantra written on a wall, then all their karmic obscurations will be exhausted, what need is there to mention reciting it? The Tathagata himself will appear and say, 'Son of good family, come here to me.' Thus it is said. After 'Fire of Dharani,' adding 'Sarva Sattva Nama' is adding the names of all sentient beings. Hearing, holding, reading, etc., this dharani, or seeing it written on a wall, the faults of those who commit the five inexpiable sins, fall into the Avici hell, abandon the sacred Dharma, slander the noble ones, butchers, outcastes, etc., who engage in evil deeds, as well as those who are blind, deaf, crippled, hunchbacked, etc., who are obscured by past karma, those who are bound by the noose of demons, those who are deluded by evil views, those who are misled by evil teachers, all of those faults will be pacified, and all will become irreversible from unsurpassed Bodhi. Beings of the animal realm who see or hear it will also become the same. In the degenerate age, those who do not respect their parents, slander the noble ones and the sacred Dharma, etc., who commit various non-virtuous deeds, if they hear, read, or write this dharani, not only that person, but all who see, hear, and are touched by their shadow, all sins will be completely purified, and in this life they will obtain hundreds of thousands of merits. This dharani can be separated from all sins, possess all roots of virtue, exhaust all demons, make all worldly people rejoice, and all harm from poison, weapons, etc., cannot prevail.
