Retinue of the Eight Classes. To the Eight Classes of gods and demons, along with their retinues, I offer, praise, and prostrate. May all enemies and obstacles be vanquished, and may wealth and enjoyment be abundant and complete. May all wishes be fulfilled as desired, and may the benefit of others be spontaneously accomplished. Please grant! King of the Nagas, Sogma Me, with a golden complexion and the form of a youth. Performing the activities of a thousand Buddhas, I prostrate and praise the mantra-lord. King of the Nagas, Sogma Me, is a Bodhisattva of the Auspicious Aeon, a wrathful youth with a serpent's head. May all activities be accomplished, I prostrate and praise. King of the Nagas, Sogma Me, in the Anavatapta Lake south of Mount Meru, a wrathful youth, radiant. I prostrate and praise the great Bodhisattva. Hūṃ! The oath-bound one with the name of the Blacksmith, the Great Black One, with one face and two hands, and hair swirling red and yellow. In the right hand, he holds a blacksmith's hammer, and in the left hand, he holds a blacksmith's bellows. Riding a ram and wearing a black cloak. Eyes red and a tongue flashing like lightning. Devouring enemies who break their vows, with a fierce blacksmith's sound from his mouth, causing those with wrong views to tremble in fear. Fierce, majestic, and extremely terrifying in form, manifesting various emanations, pervading the three thousand worlds.
