Without sickness, without dependence, without self-grasping, without need, rest in the state of non-reality. Third, abandoning the body as food: Whatever sickness, harm, beating, etc., is done to this body, do not cling to it. This body is not mine, I do not own it, I do not hold it as my own. Since you own it, enjoy it as you please! Even if it is thrown into hell, let it be! Do not have any expectations or worries. Afterwards, do not think of the self, gods, demons, and the cutter, but freely rest in the state of the three emptinesses. By doing so, you will complete the accumulations, purify obscurations, repay debts, release the clinging to the body, and realize the nature of the mind. The practice of the second night is: First, when going to the place of cutting, you must have three things: firm confidence in the introduction, great abandonment of mind through practice, and the ability to overcome pleasure and pain. The first is to make the mind well acquainted with the preliminary introduction. Tonight, whatever illusions or obstacles arise are illusions of the unborn mind. Therefore, all phenomena included in samsara and nirvana, the six realms, are illusions of the unborn mind. You should know that in reality there is not a single thing that is truly established. The second is that with good confidence in experience and realization, whatever adverse conditions and obstacles arise, you should recognize them without fear or hesitation, and through subsequent wisdom, understand that everything is unreal, like cutting water with a sword. The third is that whatever pleasure or pain arises, you should understand that all of these are conventional truths, that there is not a single atom that is truly established, and that they are like the sixteen examples of illusion, and then go to the place of cutting. After arriving, practice the following: Cut off the gods and demons of the external fearful place, cut off the conceptual thoughts of the internal fearer, and cut off the nature of the intermediate fear. The first is to see where the gods and demons of the fearful place first came from, where they dwell in the middle, and where they go in the end. Look at the shape of the gods and demons, whether it is square or round, etc. Look at the color, whether it is white or red, etc. The eyes look at the form of the gods and demons, the ears listen to the sound, the nose smells the scent, the mouth speaks words, the hand grabs the ghost and sees what it is like. Like this after looking, if you cannot find it, rest in emptiness. Second, the conceptual thoughts of the fearer

From the crown of my (og de ya)'s head to the soles of my (ma)'s feet, where is it in terms of outer, inner, and secret? Look at what the shape and color of that terrifying thing is like. Not finding it, rest in emptiness. Investigating the nature of fear in between is: What is the nature of something called "fear" like? Where is it? What is its shape and color like? Looking like that, the object of fear is not found from the outside, the fearer is not found from the inside, and the nature of fear is not found in between. If it existed, it would be found, but because it doesn't exist, it is not found. Rest relaxed in that state. The practice of the third "Nub" is: First, when going to cut, one must have a vast view, possess the experience of meditation, and have a vast heart of action. Go from the state of these three. Among them, the vast view is: Upwards, the form body and wisdom of the Buddha are not truly established in the ultimate truth; downwards, the lifespan of hell, and the suffering of the body's heat and cold, have never been truly established even as a particle in the ultimate truth. Think like that. Possessing the experience of meditation is: Do not separate from the experience of recognition that was recognized during the introduction earlier. In meditative equipoise, all phenomena are never present, not even an appearance, like the center of the sky. In post-meditation, although there is appearance, know that it is not true, like a dream or illusion. The vast heart of action is: No matter what happens, such as sickness, suffering, adverse conditions, obstacles, cruelty, etc., do not be afraid or timid, do not have doubt or hesitation, do not have acceptance or rejection, do not have hope or fear, do not be indecisive, go without fear or timidity, like a wolf running into a flock of sheep, or like a lion jumping into the midst of a herd of animals. After arriving, practice these three words: Relying on gods and demons to cut off conceptual thoughts, relying on fear to cut off self-grasping, and relying on obstacles to cut off samsara and nirvana. Among them, the first, relying on gods and demons to cut off conceptual thoughts is: Like this, the nature of mind has never had a substance even now, and it is impossible for a substance to arise in the future. Therefore, if even I, the owner, do not know such a nature of mind, then if you, the demon, can find it, go look for it. That demon, the great black one, the swaying great black one, the swaying one, fear
