Does it resemble the shape and color of a hat, etc.? Examine it carefully. If you think it is indestructible emptiness, is it like the sky? Or like an empty container, etc.? Furthermore, is this body the mind? Is this mind the body? Or are the two inseparable? Or is it like not residing in a human body? Examine carefully what it is like. If you think emptiness is like the sky, that is not right. Because the sky is material emptiness, but the mind has thoughts. Furthermore, who experiences these forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile sensations such as food, drink, cold, and heat? Who eats? If the mind eats, then it must have form. If the body eats, then the corpse should also eat after death. Like that, examine from various angles many times. Furthermore, when a wrathful person searches for the mind by relying on an enemy: where does the mind that arises with wrath towards the harmful enemy first come from? Where does it stay in the middle? Look at where it ultimately goes. Search for what the form and color of the nature of wrath are like. If you don't find it, see if there is an entity of wrath or not. Does the enemy harm the body? Does it harm the mind? If it harms the body, since the body is going to be destroyed sooner or later anyway, what is the use of harming it since the body is matter and no different from earth and stones at the time of destruction? If harming it is useful, then those who burn the body, throw it into water, slaughter and chop it up in the cemetery are also enemies. If it harms the mind, what is the mind that is harmed like? Does that mind harm the head? The hands and feet? The reproductive organs, etc.? If there are none of these, look at what the one who grasps the enemy is like, and then examine it. Furthermore, relying on a compassionate relative, thoroughly investigate the three: origin, dwelling, and destination, as above. Furthermore, when a desirous person relies on wealth, examine the three: origin, dwelling, and destination, of the mind that arises with attachment and miserliness towards wealth and enjoyment. Then, examine whether the nature of the god who protects and the demon who harms are established or not. Examine the one who experiences the taste of happiness and suffering. Examine the nature of happiness and suffering. It is necessary to determine where the one who grasps at "I" and self comes from. Then, the lama wrote what it was like. He said: having an entity that says "it is like this shape and color," and having signs such as experiences, illusions, hallucinations, guesses, dreams, etc., or being stubbornly attached to the truth with clinging to reality, etc.

If it is said, because it is not recognized and not confirmed, it should be investigated again. If it is said that it cannot be found, is that which cannot be found something that does not exist at all? Or does it seem to exist but cannot be found? If it is said like this, ask again. Also, There is no shape, color, place of origin, place of going, etc. Is it something that cannot be identified? Is it clear and transparent? Is it empty? Or is it still, etc.? If it is said like this, because it is not yet confirmed, look again. Again, if it is said that it is like clear emptiness, unidentifiable and unspeakable, but there is something to experience, then it is like a metaphor and hearing, as well as guessing and being taught by others. If you ask repeatedly with a cunning mind, it will not be stable and impermanent. If it is an experience, even if the language is different, the meaning will be the same. Sometimes, because the mind is clear, even if there is no experience, one is good at speaking, and sometimes, even if there is experience, the language is not smooth, so observe carefully. Also, are the one who seeks the mind and the thing to be sought the same or different? If they are the same, then the shape etc. should be examined again and again. If they are different, then there must be two minds, so observe carefully. If, after observing, it is said that it is like empty clarity, then, has the conceptual thought that examines one and other stopped? Or has it disappeared and become empty clarity? Similarly, if it is said that emptiness is impossible, it should be refuted. If it is said that it is like being free from all acknowledgements of "this", not stopping appearances, unidentifiable, and unspeakable, then experience has arisen, so generate faith, that is: Oh, that state that you cannot see even if you look, cannot find even if you search, and cannot grasp even if you hold, do not think or discriminate about anything, do not fabricate anything, and let it go relaxed. Seeing that very nature is seeing the unseen Dharma, as Machig (Tibetan: མ་ཅིག་) said: Unseen is seeing the Dharma. Also, Aryadeva (Sanskrit: Āryadeva, Romanized Sanskrit: āryadeva) said: The mind has no place of origin or dwelling, and there is not even a speck of dust where it goes. So it is said. If this is the rule of Chöd (Tibetan: གཅོད), but if you think that other teachings are not like this, then in the Sutra Requested by Maitreya it is said: Maitreya asked: How should one observe the mind within? The Buddha said: The mind has no shape, no color, no place, like the sky. Also, if you think that the nature of the three poisons is truly established, and I do not understand, that is not the case, in the Ratnakutasutra (Sanskrit: Ratnakūṭasūtra, Romanized Sanskrit: ratnakūṭasūtra), Surakshita (Sanskrit: Surakṣita, Romanized Sanskrit: surakṣita)
