Now, I will explain the key points of the profound and swift path of conduct yoga in particular. Secondly, if you recklessly reveal it to those who are not suitable vessels, those with little merit who cannot comprehend profound emptiness, and those with wrong views, then may the oceans of oath-bound Dakinis who perform actions become the executioners of their lives! Those who have not received empowerment, transmission, or instructions should also not freely engage in the Dharma, but should be cautious. At this time, starting with opening the door of the sky, signs of purification of obscurations from the preliminary practices will appear, and one will be led to search for the mind based on following pure awareness. It is said that there are three aspects to this: introducing through opening the door of the sky, going to solitary places to enhance the three aspects of view, meditation, and conduct, and abandoning the experience of practice as food. The first of these has two aspects: the student searching for the mind and the lama introducing it, and establishing it through instructions. First, the way the lama guides you to search for the mind is: in the past, wandering in the three realms and six realms, experiencing various joys and sorrows, what is the cause of this? It is caused by being deluded by not knowing one's own nature. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the root cause. That which is called "I" and "mine," which is wavering, frivolous and scattered, careless, and the instigator of various kinds of memories and wild thoughts, must be thoroughly investigated. If you cannot determine that the mind is within yourself, you cannot meditate. The lama may be learned, the Dharma may be good, and the instructions may be profound, but if you do not know how to introduce it, then no matter how great your general understanding and wisdom of the Dharma, and no matter how many kinds of awareness there are, you will not be able to understand this meaning through measurement and reasoning. As it is said in the Sutra Unraveling the Thought: The ultimate, transcendent truth, cannot be realized by conceptualization, nor by inference and debate. Conceptualization is extremely subtle, profound and difficult to measure, the object of individual self-awareness, the nature of its activity. It is inexpressible, all language is cut off, free from debate, that is the nature of ultimate Dharma, therefore it transcends all, the nature of conceptualization. And as it is said in the Kalachakra: The unnegated emptiness is said to be the nature of space. And as it is said in the Sutra of Instructions: Shariputra asked: How should the monks request instructions and practice diligently? The Buddha replied: The monks establish and propagate names with characteristics, one after another, that

These are to deceive and seduce children. All dharmas are without self and are naturally luminous, which is the ultimate instruction. Thus, one should practice and be diligent. As it is said in the Lankavatara Sutra: 'The collection of words and letters, distinguished by the aspects of objects, like an elephant sinking into the mud, believes in ignorant illusions, and cannot obtain true wisdom.' Therefore, it must be pointed out by the guru, and the disciple must experience it personally. For this, first, one must have strong devotion to the guru. Then, for the benefit of all sentient beings, generate the mind to realize the meaning of the Prajnaparamita. Then, by arranging dependent origination on the body, realization will arise in the mind. As it is said, by sitting in the vajra posture, the downward-moving air is stopped. Similarly, through meditative equipoise, the fire-equalizing air is stopped. Straightening the spine and opening the eyes, these two stop the pervasive air. Bending the throat stops the upward-moving air, and the tongue touching the palate and the gaze, these two stop the life-sustaining air, so that the five airs enter the central channel. All karmic airs enter the central channel, and thus non-conceptual wisdom arises. Not moving the eyes and gazing vaguely into space, these seven postures are called the seven dharmas of Vairochana. In the Manifest Enlightenment it says: 'Straighten the body and sit in the vajra posture, the mind is one-pointed in the great mudra.' This is the meaning of that. Abandon the air of speech, and stop speaking. Observe this mind, from the crown of the head to the toenails, in the skin, flesh, bones, the three, the internal organs, etc., look at where it dwells, this is one. If it is determined that it dwells somewhere, observe its shape, such as whether it is square or another shape, this is two. If it has a shape, observe this thought that arises with various feelings of happiness and suffering, what color it has, such as white, etc., this is three. That is, look up and look down at your own mind. Trace the source, trace the destination, trace awareness alone, and then observe. Until it is determined, one should only strive to find the mind. During session breaks, dedicate and pray. Also, examine whether it can be burned by fire, soaked in water, cut by sharp weapons, pierced, etc. If it can be destroyed by fire, water, weapons, etc., then it must exist. People and other animals, mountains, rocks, trees, grains, fire
