Regarding my activities, and the manner of moving internally and externally, the order of strength and weakness, relating to the planets, and the entry of wind, the methods of controlling wind, the faults and virtues of wind, and the manner of showing all of samsara and nirvana as the nature of wind. Because in these, all the classifications of wind are fully present. Therefore, these will be explained in order. Thus it is said. Second, the extensive explanation is in five parts: the nature of what is produced and what produces; the manner of abiding with activities; the order of moving internally and externally with activities; the entrance and benefits; all of samsara and nirvana explained as the nature of wind. The first part is in two: the indication and the explanation. The first is: Wind is the combination of speech and time. All letters are born from this. Thus it is said. The wind, which is the basis of all of samsara and nirvana, is the great primordial indestructible bliss. When it is called wind, it is life, abiding in the nature of short A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, literal meaning: A), therefore speech also arises from this. Breath, measuring instruments, staffs, combinations of time, etc., also arise from this. Vowels and consonants, etc., all letters are born from this, therefore, although it cannot be spoken, it is the basis of all speech. As it is said in the "Nomenclature": A is the best of all letters, it is a sacred letter of great meaning, it arises from the heart, it has no birth, it abandons being expressed in words, it is the best of the causes of all expression, it makes all words very clear. Thus it is said. If considered from the perspective of letters, A is the root of all vowels and consonants; if considered from the perspective of wind, the root of all ten winds is the life wind, which has the form of A; if considered from the perspective of wisdom, that unchanging great bliss itself is called A, therefore, the wind that is the root or basis of all dharmas is that very A called life. Therefore, all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana appear from that. The second part is in three: the nature of the five root winds; the nature of the five branch winds; the manner of what is produced and what produces. The first part is: First, relying on consciousness, the life wind has the form of A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, literal meaning: A), it is the nature of the space element. The downward-clearing wind is the earth element, the letter ḷ (Tibetan: ལྀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: लृ, Sanskrit Romanization: lṛ, literal meaning: ḷ). The upward-moving wind is the fire element, it is ṛ (Tibetan: རྀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ऋ, Sanskrit Romanization: ṛ, literal meaning: ṛ). The fire-equal wind is wind.

The realm called "Ung" is "I" (Tibetan: ཨི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: इ, Sanskrit Romanization: i, Chinese literal meaning: I). The pervasive water transforms into "U" (Tibetan: ཨུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: उ, Sanskrit Romanization: u, Chinese literal meaning: U). It is said that when the Vajra body is formed, initially in the center of the white and red bindus, relying on the Alaya-vijnana, which is the basis of everything, from the movement of the mind of formation arises what is called the "Great Life Wind." This is the basis of the body, Alaya-vijnana, and warmth of sentient beings, and is known as "Life." It is formed from the five letters, having the form of a short A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A), and is the nature of the space element among the five elements. The downward-clearing wind that arises from this is the earth element among the five elements, and has the form of the letter Li (Tibetan: ལྀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ली, Sanskrit Romanization: lī, Chinese literal meaning: Li) among the five letters. The upward-moving wind is the fire element among the five elements, and has the form of the letter Ri (Tibetan: རྀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: री, Sanskrit Romanization: rī, Chinese literal meaning: Ri) among the five letters. The wind that dwells together with fire is the wind element among the five elements, and is called the letter I (Tibetan: ཨི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: इ, Sanskrit Romanization: i, Chinese literal meaning: I) among the five letters. The pervasive wind is the water element among the five elements, and transforms into the letter U (Tibetan: ཨུ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: उ, Sanskrit Romanization: u, Chinese literal meaning: U) among the five letters. The reason for establishing it in this way is that the Great Life Wind, which is the root of everything, is the nature of the five letters of the great emptiness, and it is the meaning that arises from the qualities of others. Second, the nature of the five branch winds: Then the five branch winds are: Naga is born from earth, space A (Tibetan: ཨཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: ā, Chinese literal meaning: A). Turtle is wind, said to be E (Tibetan: ཨེ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ए, Sanskrit Romanization: e, Chinese literal meaning: E). Crab is fire, truly Ar (Tibetan: ཨཱར, Sanskrit Devanagari: आर्, Sanskrit Romanization: ār, Chinese literal meaning: Ar). Devas are the water element, transforming into O (Tibetan: ཨོ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: o, Chinese literal meaning: O). Ala is the earth element, victorious over wealth. It is said that the elements and nature of the five branch winds are: The Naga wind is born from the earth element, and is the nature of wisdom, therefore it is the long A (Tibetan: ཨཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आ, Sanskrit Romanization: ā, Chinese literal meaning: A) of space. The turtle wind is the wind element, transforming into the letter E (Tibetan: ཨེ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ए, Sanskrit Romanization: e, Chinese literal meaning: E). The crab wind is the fire element, truly the letter Ar (Tibetan: ཨཱར, Sanskrit Devanagari: आर्, Sanskrit Romanization: ār, Chinese literal meaning: Ar). The Deva wind is the water element, transforming into the letter O (Tibetan: ཨོ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: o, Chinese literal meaning: O). The wind that is victorious over wealth is the earth element, having the form of the letter Ala (Tibetan: ཨཱལ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आल्, Sanskrit Romanization: āl, Chinese literal meaning: Ala). Third, the manner of generation and absorption is twofold: the actual and that which is combined with the scriptural authority gathered from all the Wisdom Vajras. The first is: Initially in each month, gradually generating, now doing everything. Absorption is said to be ten years and ten years. It is said that when the Vajra body is formed in the womb, initially among the winds, the life wind having the form of the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) is formed. In the second month, it is symbolized by the downward-clearing wind arising from the life wind. Ten months
