Hundreds and hundreds, and transformed by the ten winds, therefore the wheels of the subtle channels are thousands and thousands, so there are seventy-two thousand channels. The main wheel is also like a single tree branching out into thousands of branches and leaves. Here, it should be known that from the aspect of essence, the flow of air is absorption, the dripping of bindu is enjoyment, and the flow of blood is mastery. Seventh, regarding the subtle channels and which realm generates them, there are two parts: the explanation of the subtle channels and the explanation of which realm generates them. The first part is: Therefore, the more subtle channels are, forty billion five hundred million, which cause hair to grow. It is said that the pure union of the seventy-two Yogini Tantra, the seventy-two thousand channels, there are other channels more subtle than these. What are those? In the meaning collection self-commentary spoken in the "Joyful Entering the Womb Sutra": There, in the four directions of the body, there are five channels, forty branches, each branch, has one hundred channels. In total, there are eighty thousand channels. There reside eighty thousand worms, and it is filled with impure substances. It is said. In the Kalachakra it is said: The subtle channels that reach the skin, forty billion five hundred million together produce the residue of hair and body hair, and it is said that those four billion five hundred million pure elements exist in the wheel of the mandala. In the Vajra Heart Commentary it also says: As many as the number of hair follicles, there are forty billion five hundred million channels. The second part is: These are the order of the realms, the navel is earth, the heart is wind, the throat is fire, the crown is water, the topknot is space, the secret place is, said to be the lineage of wisdom bliss. Similarly, at the very end of the hair, they are generated in sequence by the six realms. From the distinction of the right, left, and central channels, there are the three lineages of body, speech, and mind. It is said. The order of the realms of these channels is, the navel is the earth realm, the heart is the wind realm, therefore earth and wind are means and wisdom, the throat is the fire realm, the crown is the water realm, therefore fire and water are means and wisdom, the topknot is the space realm, the secret place is said to be the lineage of wisdom bliss, therefore space and wisdom are means and wisdom, because the meaning of saying two and two as means and wisdom, therefore when meditating, the wheels are all opened like umbrellas.

Meditating in the manner of the letter GA (Tibetan: ག) is the essence of the oral instructions. Similarly, the channels that pervade the ends of the hairs are also produced sequentially by the six elements. As stated in the Sutra of the Ocean of Samadhi of Buddha Recollection, when one attains Buddhahood, the pores of the hairs appear in the form of six-cornered jewels, which are the cause of the (earth) element. Therefore, regarding the three aspects of skillful means, wisdom, all the channels are the right Roma channel, the left Kyangma channel, and the middle Uma channel. The distinction of these three channels transforms into the three types of channels of body, speech, and mind. In short, all the channels from the Uma channel to the ends of the hairs should be understood as the nature of the six elements, five elements, four elements, three elements, and two elements. Third, summarizing the meaning: Thus knowing the characteristics of the channels, one will realize the nature of the body. As it is said, by relying on knowing the nature and characteristics of the channels in this way, one will realize the nature of the body, such as it not being a whole or a single entity, and so on. In the conventional truth, one will also understand the characteristics of the body, that is, one will understand that the self, which is permanent, single, and independent, and so on, is empty of true existence, and that this appearance as all the channels is the impure Nirmāṇakāya. Second, the title of the chapter: In the commentary on the profound inner meaning, the section on "Extensively Explaining the Channels of the Body" is the explanation of the third chapter. The channels that have been explained in this way are also accomplished by the wind, and because the wind flows within the channels. Moreover, one must strike the vital points of the wind, and one must know that the various establishments of the wind are inverted. Therefore, the extensive explanation of the wind is divided into two: the text of the chapter and the title of the chapter. The first part has three sections: summary, extensive explanation, and summary of the meaning. The first part is: Thereafter, the nature of the wind, and the place and function of its movement, the order of strength and weakness, the means of entering and grasping, faults and virtues, should be explained here in order. Thus it is said, vowing to explain. What is to be explained? It is the nature of the wind and so on. In what context is it explained? After explaining the chapter on the channels, it will be explained here in this fourth chapter. In what way is it explained? What is the letter of the nature of the wind, and the place where it resides, and the root and branch winds
