It possesses great power. Tipupa said that the merit of mastering the winds of the five elements will manifest in the body. Fifth, regarding showing all of samsara and nirvana as the nature of wind, there are three points: brief explanation, detailed explanation, and summarizing the meaning. The first point is: In short, wind is conceptual thought, possessing the qualities of moving, being subtle, and causing others to move. It is said that if all winds are summarized, they can be summarized into two types: the wind of wisdom and the wind of consciousness. The wind of consciousness is the same as conceptual thought, possessing the three characteristics of moving, entering into subtlety, and causing things to move from one place to another. This is because wind can move external objects, enter extremely subtle objects, and cause external objects to move from one place to another. Similarly, conceptual thought can also move objects, enter subtle objects, and not stay in the same place, or cause things to be abandoned and things to be embraced to move from one place to another. All the phenomena of samsara and nirvana are established by untrue pervasive imputation and are merely appearances of the mind. Therefore, wind is proven to be conceptual thought, so it should be known that all of samsara and nirvana are its nature. The second point is: The nature of mind is clear and non-conceptual, its essence is the great wind of wisdom, the antidote is the great wind of wisdom, it is said to be the activity of true conceptualization. The afflicted mind abiding on the alaya is said to be the wind that generates delusion. On the appearance of the activity of wisdom, it is called the wind of attachment to other thoughts. Consciousness is the wind that judges what to take and what to reject. Anger is wind, and it arises from it. It is said here that the basis of all samsara and nirvana, the nature of mind, is clear and non-conceptual, the dharmadhatu is naturally pure, and its essence is called the great wind of wisdom, which is said to be wind on the basis of purification. The antidote of the cause that is the same as the result, the wisdom of the path, the great wind of wisdom that is the same cause as wisdom, is said to be the path and its retinue that are in accordance with the Dharma of enlightenment, which is said to be wind on the purifier. The alaya is the basis of all habitual tendencies, and the afflicted mind that abides on it grasps the self in what is without self, and the mind acts on the object, thus generating delusion.

It is said to be the wind of desire. The formations associated with the six consciousnesses, although they are none other than the appearance of the mind's own light wisdom, are mistaken for other, and generate attachment to craving and grasping. Because they are universally moving, they are called the wind of desire. The six consciousnesses, because they do not understand the true nature of the objects and judge what to accept and reject, become angry at unpleasant objects, so they are the wind that generates hatred. Generated by these three poisons, they are confused in the three realms and wander in samsara. Therefore, the minds and mental factors of the three realms are said to be wind because of their separation from the three poisons, which is to designate what is to be subdued as wind. Third, the summary of the meaning is: "The three realms are made by wind, Faults and virtues are all said, Having relied on wind and understood thus, Knowing the union of wind goes to the other shore. Wind makes one wander in samsara, The method to cut it off can also be accomplished." As it is said, all that appears in the three realms is said to be made by wind, therefore faults such as attachment and aversion, and grasping, and the antidote wisdom are also said to be wind, so all the virtues of going to nirvana depend on wind, and having understood it as it is, one should bind the key points of the correct path. The tantra Vajramala says: "Knowing the union of wind, one goes from samsara to the other shore to become a Buddha. If wind and conceptual thoughts are allowed to run wild and follow after them, one will wander in samsara and experience suffering. Knowing the binding of the key points, because the karmic wind is purified into wisdom, the antidote to cut off samsara is also accomplished by the wind itself." Thus it is said. Third, the general conclusion is: "Outer and inner wind names, functions, etc., Said by the Victorious One in sutras and tantras, Here it is shown in brief." As it is said, the names and nature of all the winds that move internally and externally, the places and functions, etc., are extensively explained by the Victorious Vajradhara in the sutras and tantras, and here, for the yogi, those that are close to the path of pith instructions are briefly shown in this section and chapter on how to accomplish the body.
