Here, I will briefly explain some important supplementary points that should generally be understood. That is, the basis or root of all samsara and nirvana is the great primordial, indestructible bindu. It is called primordial because it is without beginning, indestructible because it is indivisible, bindu because it extensively pervades many appearances, and great because it is all-pervasive of all dharmas. Thus, it is indicated by the name of the great indestructible bindu. In this treatise, as explained by "the cause is mind itself," etc., the nature of mind, which is undifferentiated between sentient beings and buddhas, is without beginning or end, not falling into the extremes of permanence or annihilation, or the boundaries of center, etc., not falling into the side of abandonment or adoption, or fixation, the natural, unadulterated state that is unconditioned and spontaneously accomplished, is this itself. For this, there are endless names such as Mahamudra, Great Bliss, Nada, All-pervading Space Vajra, Ordinary Awareness, the root and wind of wisdom, the indestructible Hum (藏文:ཧཾ,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum) and bindu, Tathagatagarbha, Prajnaparamita, etc. From this, all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana appear. The great, fundamental, indestructible one also abides under the control of the realm or elements of sentient beings. From this, the movement of mind stirred by the wind, as if mixed with itself, the appearance of co-emergent ignorance, controlled by the red aspect, arises the appearance of samsara and nirvana, and is mistaken for other. Moreover, because it is controlled by the white aspect, the ego-grasping arises. As it is said, "That itself does not recognize itself." Therefore, because of the movement of the red and white winds, it is separated into two dharmas, and thus there is grasping at the grasped, appearance and mind, self and other, object and subject, etc. In reality, all the involvement of other-grasping in the grasped, appearance, other, and object, etc., is the self-light or appearance aspect of that mind. And the involvement of self-grasping in the grasper, mind, self, and subject is the nature or emptiness aspect of that mind. Therefore, it is the separate grasping of the unborn nature and the unceasing energy of the mind. This is like a candle and its light, appearance and mind are inseparable, established in the nature of things, therefore appearance is considered to be mind.

This is the essence of the meaning of all Father Tantras and Mother Tantras, but it is not the established tenet posited by those who speak of mere consciousness. Therefore, all the dharmas of the ground, path, and fruition are established on the appearance of one's own mind, with the intervention of other conceptual thoughts, and summarized by knowledge and speech. On the ground, due to the influence of the white and red roots, there arises the conceptualization of self and other, thereby producing the two, grasper and grasped, along with wind, from which arises the three-step; or from the red part, wisdom is separated, from which arises the four-step, which is the basis of all tantras, the meaning of E VAM MA YA (Tibetan: ཨེ་ཝྃ་མ་ཡ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization:, Chinese literal meaning:). The way in which samsara appears is: the indestructible bindu, together with the movement of coemergent ignorance, with the white part dominating, from which arises the three appearances of conceptualizing self, from the determination of white, red, and wind, it appears as an object, thereby producing the appearance of the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, i.e., the three realms. If the appearance gate is divided into four steps, then hell must be explained as the self-appearance of wisdom. The way in which the five steps and so on arise is: the indestructible bindu itself possesses the nature of the five aggregates, therefore, from it appear other conceptual thoughts, the five aggregates, and so on. From the ground of the four dharmas, wisdom is separated, and from wind, space is separated, thereby producing the six dharmas; from the five dharmas, the distinction of small elements is separated, thereby producing twenty-five and so on, many appearances, which can be elaborated upon. The way in which the appearance of nirvana arises is: as the scriptures say, "It itself, without ceasing, dances." and so on. Because of recognizing the face of the indestructible bindu itself, from the three appearances of coemergent wisdom, the nature of white, red, and wind appears as an object, thereby producing the appearance of the nirmanakaya, sambhogakaya, and dharmakaya, i.e., the three kayas. If the appearance gate is divided into four steps, then the svabhavikakaya must be considered the self-appearance of wisdom. From that, the five kayas, the six families, the twenty-five small bindus, and the hundred holy families, and so on, the infinite ways, should also be elaborated upon and understood. The way in which the appearance of the path arises is: belonging to the side of transcending suffering, in order to attain those kayas, if the path is divided into two, three, or four, and so on, then on the path of maturation and liberation, there will also be three steps and four steps, and so on, infinite ways.
