I, in the desire realm, take birth and existence seven times through karma and afflictions, and manifest inferior enlightenment. That is, taking seven births as gods and humans is according to the Sutra School's view, as stated in its own commentary. The Vaibhashikas, however, believe that there are seven births each as gods and humans, with seven intermediate states between them, totaling twenty-one. However, since the dharmas are similar in groups of seven, they consider it to be seven existences. Arhats also have two types: with remainder and without remainder. The enlightenment manifested in this way is not complete enlightenment, but merely the pacification of suffering for one's own benefit. The second is: 'Solitary realizer, twenty kalpas; Rhinoceros horn, one hundred kalpas to accomplish.' As it is said, by nature, one is of medium faculty and relies on the path of the middle vehicle. Because of the difference in view, one realizes the selflessness of the person and the non-inherent existence of what is grasped. Therefore, one realizes half and two parts of selflessness, and because one's thought is of great pride, in a place without Buddhas and Shravakas, at the time of the last existence, one manifests one's own enlightenment without relying on the instruction of other teachers, hence the name Solitary Realizer. Among them, there are subdivisions: those who precede the accumulation path and those who precede the Shravakas. The two, great and small accumulators, are of medium and dull faculties. The sharp faculty is like a rhinoceros horn, and there are three types. The time to manifest one's own enlightenment is when the small accumulator gathers merit for about twenty kalpas below the path of seeing and then proceeds to one's own enlightenment. The word 'nas' is a limiting aggregate word. Therefore, the great accumulator takes about fifty kalpas, and the rhinoceros horn accumulates merit for one hundred kalpas and attains one's own enlightenment in the next life. The enlightenment of the Solitary Realizer is also a one-sided peace. The third is: 'Benefiting all sentient beings, Bodhisattvas, three countless.' As it is said, the Paramita Vehicle is endowed with the two minds of aspiration and engagement that benefit all sentient beings, and with the wisdom that realizes the two selflessnesses without abiding in the extremes of samsara and nirvana. By practicing the six paramitas on the path, it is said that one obtains enlightenment in three countless kalpas, and that is for the sake of sentient beings.

Heart Abiding immeasurably with love, it is not merely for the sake of accomplishing one's own benefit, but through the power of the manifestation of magical abilities and the boundless actions of the great compassionate activity. Accumulating the accumulations for three countless eons is generally explained in the context of the Sutra Perfection of Wisdom. In the Great Commentary on the Eight Thousand Verses, it is also explained that one accumulates the accumulations for thirty-seven countless eons, and so forth. However, this does not mean that one must accumulate the accumulations during that period of time, but rather that one must accumulate accumulations equal to those accumulated during that period of time. For example, our compassionate teacher, Shakyamuni Buddha, in the past was a Brahmin, and through the diligence of praising and circumambulating the Star King Buddha with one verse for seven days, he shortened the accumulations of nine eons. Here, only a rough outline is given, but the fifteen aspects of the five paths of the three vehicles, namely the Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and Bodhisattvas, need to be understood in detail from the Prajnaparamita sutras and treatises such as the Ornament for Clear Realization. Second, the uncommon path has three aspects: explaining that the mantra path is particularly superior, explaining the differences in the times of the four classes of tantras, and explaining the actual path. The first is: As it is said, "Here, through the difference of skillful means, it surpasses the path of the perfections." That is to say, although the lower vehicles and the mantra vehicle are the same in terms of the ultimate progression in the definitive meaning, the mantra vehicle, as stated in the Lamp for the Three Modes, "Although the meaning is one, there is no confusion, many skillful means, no difficulty, and subdued by sharp faculties, therefore the mantra vehicle is particularly superior." As it is said, it is particularly superior due to four characteristics such as skillful means, many skillful means, easy skillful means, and great intelligence. Therefore, although the essence of the path of realizing the nature of reality is the same for both Sutra and Tantra, the difference lies in the ease of skillful means and the speed of accomplishment. There are many stages of progressing on the path. In this case of Vajrayana, through the power of the inconceivable skillful means of maturation and liberation, it is much faster and more superior than those paths of the perfections. Second: Action Tantra and Performance Tantra only possess skillful means, and require sixty lifetimes; Yoga Tantra requires only sixteen lifetimes.
