Just as the nature of knowledge is explained in a condensed manner. In short, the yogi should purify defilements while not grasping all knowable things encompassed by the two truths as real. The name of the second chapter is: From the verse commentary on the extensive explanation of the profound inner meaning, a section showing how the deity and mandala of the generation stage's conceptualization arise, which is the explanation of the eighth chapter. Thus, having explained how the gross delusions that rely on the aspect of conventional appearance are bound by the generation stage, in order to completely cut off all other subtle and gross delusions along with their seeds, and in order to unerringly understand the path of coemergent union, this chapter combining what is to be abandoned and what abandons is taught in two parts: the text of the chapter and its name. The first part has three sections: summary, detailed explanation, and conclusion. The first part is: "Then, of all phenomena, what is to be abandoned and what abandons, the certainty that was spoken, will be shown here." It is said that all phenomena encompassed by samsara and nirvana are appearances arising from the magical display of the mind, whether pure or impure. Therefore, the antidote to all of these, what is to be abandoned and what abandons, such as meditating on the mandala of deities, was spoken in the previous chapter, and the certainty of that will also be shown in this way. The second part, the detailed explanation, has six sections: explaining the two truths of reality, abandoning the wrong conceptions of delusion due to not understanding their manner, the root of abandoning the antidote, specifically, a summary of the certainty of the tantric antidote, a detailed explanation, and combining that with all the deities of the tantra. The first part is: "The realm of sentient beings is the Buddha's essence, stainless, possessing two truths. This is the wisdom vajra. Conventional appearance is the appearance of grasping and being grasped. Truth is like the moon in water. Ultimate emptiness is eighteenfold. The nonduality of the two truths is called wisdom. That is generated by the conceptualization of conceptualization. The antidote is said to be what purifies. All phenomena are shown according to the number of what is to be purified." It is said that the realm of sentient beings, possessing the two purities of the ground, is the essence of the Buddha, self-arisen wisdom. Its nature is without the defilement of the delusion of the eight aggregates.

Where the ultimate truth and its self-radiant wisdom are united with the conventional truth, as stated in the Condensed Exposition Tantra of Guhyasamaja, the Wisdom Vajra: "The meaning of the two truths is as follows: the conventional truth and the ultimate truth. Son of lineage, the conventional is the stable and the moving. Its truth is like the moon in water. The ultimate truth is the eighteen great emptinesses. Its limit is the place." As it is said, the conventional is the appearance of grasping and being grasped, which, although non-existent in reality, is imputed by conceptual thought as the appearance of containers and contents, etc. The truth is that although it appears, it has no inherent existence, like the moon in water, so it is merely the truth in the face of a deluded mind. The ultimate is the emptiness of inherent existence, which is explained in the form of eighteen emptinesses, such as the emptiness of inner emptiness. The truth is referred to as the self-arisen wisdom that is free from the duality of grasping and being grasped, because self-knowing wisdom becomes the object, so it also exists in the ultimate. Relying on such a way of the two truths being united, inseparable, and co-emergent, the view generated by the correct realization that individually understands that reality will be manifestly realized without being mistaken. The antidote wisdom that realizes or generates in this way is said to be the method of subduing the conceptual thoughts of grasping and being grasped, as explained in the tantras, yoga practices, and Madhyamaka treatises. Because the objects to be subdued, the means of subduing, the subduer, and the results of subduing are equal in number, all the dharmas, including the objects to be subdued, the means of subduing, the subduer, and the results of subduing, are the same, as taught in many tantras, and it is said that the way of purifying defilements in this way is reasonable. Moreover, in the Vajrayana, generating the antidote wisdom that is in accordance with the true fruit, wisdom, is the cause of the arising of the correct view, and the pure Buddha dharma is without difference, so it is called "making the fruit the path." All dharmas encompassed by the two truths, purified into the nature of deity, mantra, and great bliss, are the objects to be subdued. The ultimate arising from reliance on conventional conceptual thought
