That is, the wheel. The five wheels, and the five winds of earth, water, fire, wind, and space, or the five root winds, and the five realms of earth, water, fire, wind, and pervasive space, and the five afflictions, and the five stages, and the five families, and the five bodies, etc., considering the objects to be purified and the means of purification of such five dharmas, the methods of practice of the five main deities and retinues are taught. Such as the five-five deities of Bliss-Void Vajravarahi, etc., this is taught in many tantras. Above the four pervasive elements, dividing the space realm and the wisdom realm into two, there are six realms, and the six aggregates of consciousness, and the six channels including the crown wheels, and the six afflictions, and the six families, etc., considering the objects to be purified and the means of purification of such six dharmas, the methods of practice of the six main deities and retinues, such as the six wheel-turning deities, are taught. Likewise, placing the alaya consciousness in its place, in order to purify the six entering consciousnesses and the co-emergent consciousness, etc., the seven aggregates, the methods of practice of the seven main deities and retinues, such as the seven syllables of Supreme Bliss, are taught. In order to purify the eight aggregates of consciousness, etc., the mandala of the eight main deities and retinues, such as the mandala of the co-emergent Supreme Bliss Mother surrounded by the six armor heroines, is taught. The eight petals of the heart channel wheel, the upper and lower ends of the central channel are ten, and the five root winds and the five branch winds, a total of ten winds, and the ten bhumis such as great joy, and the ten powers such as the knowledge of what is and is not, and the eight aggregates of consciousness and the two objects and object possessors, a total of ten, and such other ten dharmas, considering such ten dharmas, the methods of practice of the nine main deities and retinues, such as the mandala of the nine deities of Hevajra, and the ten deities of Yangdak, are taught. Thus, in the mandala of the nine deities of Hevajra, if the main deities, the father and mother, are counted separately, then ten deities appear, which corresponds to the number of ten dharmas. If the father and mother, the union of skillful means and wisdom, are combined and counted as one, then they become nine deities, which is why the eight channel petals of the heart and the nine of the central channel are purified. The five deities of Supreme Bliss, etc., can also be explained in the same way, because they teach that the vase and skull cup, etc., are the purification remedies for the four corner channels of the heart. The second is the twelve places of aggregates and realms.
