The sutra shows that beings have different dreams, and it is said to the Bodhisattva Vajra Destroyer. Thus, dreams are caused by the elements of wind, bile, and phlegm, and these are caused by afflictions, as mentioned before. Since it is said that the first ground and above are liberated from afflictions, one might think that the ten grounds should not have dreams. In this regard, there are other causes for dreams, because the cause of dreams is the unpolluted realm. This also means taking the body of the nature of mind from the ground of ignorance and habitual tendencies and the ground of unpolluted karma, and acting like a samsaric being. As the Ratnagotravibhāga states: "Liberated from birth, old age, sickness, and death, truly knowing the nature of this, although separated from the changes of birth and so on, yet for the sake of sentient beings with wisdom, arising compassion, they enter." And so on. Fourth, the Bhagavan is free from dreams, because he is free from the conditions of unpolluted actions. It is said that the Buddha Bhagavan is free from dreams because the four states of polluted existence are transformed into the four unpolluted bodies, and he is free from the conditions of mental activity that abides in the alaya consciousness. Fourth, explaining the state of absorption, there are four parts: the nature of purity and impurity, the way of generating samsara, the order of going to nirvana, and the actual explanation of the essential binding. The first part: When absorption is with attachment, at that time, it possesses the four joys in order and consciousness. The first of desire and craving is at the crown chakra, the second at the throat, the third, when consciousness gathers at the navel, when fire and moon combine, experiencing the innate within the conch. That is the consciousness of a moment, the eight aggregates are not interrupted, each is clear. Joyful and non-conceptual, not an affliction, therefore it is called the wisdom body. If pure, all is that, without interruption, without leakage, possessing emptiness. The all-pervading, the all-mastering, strikes the essential point. It is said that when beings experience the change produced by absorption and attachment, how does consciousness abide? Like the order of the four joys, it possesses the consciousness of experiencing these four joys. The first place of desire and craving, when consciousness gathers at the crown chakra, there, the nature of the moving Bodhicitta

It remains in the state of bliss. Second, when joy arises, it is in the throat; third, when supreme joy arises, it descends from the heart to the navel. When consciousness gathers at the navel, and the fire of A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, IAST: a, Literal meaning: None) and the moon descending from HUNG (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Devanagari: हं, IAST: haṃ, Literal meaning: HUNG) mingle in the central channel, one will experience co-emergent joy within the lotus of the nadi. This co-emergent wisdom is a momentary awareness, and its essence is: the eight consciousnesses do not remain in their respective natures, but manifest separately, the experience is blissful, and its essence is non-conceptual, possessing these three qualities, its self-nature is not tainted by afflictions. Therefore, it is called the wisdom body of the ground state. The other three joys have aspects of conceptualization, and although co-emergent joy manifests as the nature of wisdom, because it is not recognized, after it ceases, the joy of separation arises. The above explains the order of the four joys and identifies co-emergent wisdom, which is a presentation of the impure state. So, what is the pure nature? In the state of meditative absorption, when the obscuration of delusion is purified by antidotes, and thus completely purified, all appearances and existence are solely the self-nature of co-emergent wisdom. Therefore, it manifests as the play of the three bodies: the six consciousnesses do not remain in their respective natures, but are clear and unmixed, which is the nature of the Nirmanakaya; the great bliss of non-leakage, i.e., being free from defilements, is the Sambhogakaya; the pervasive emptiness and self-luminous nature is the Dharmakaya, thus it appears as the play of the three bodies. This co-emergent wisdom pervades all dharmas, and all dharmas are also of the nature of co-emergence, therefore, one should strike the key point and practice it with the oral instructions of the guru. Second, the way to generate samsara is: impure, deluded beings, because they do not recognize momentary great bliss, grasp the (bliss) abiding within themselves as external, thereby generating the decline of bliss and the three poisons, and unwillingly wander in samsara. The first joy is the desire of Tushita, the middle is the ignorance of non-awareness, and afterwards is the anger of detachment from desire, selfishness and miserliness that crave bliss, and jealousy, all of which generate unwholesome actions, thereby generating all the evil realms. Thus it is said, the samsara mentioned above is also the wisdom of co-emergent joy itself.
