Therefore, know that the navel chakra is the element of earth, the throat chakra is the element of fire, and the crown chakra is the element of water, so fire and water are skillful means and wisdom. The crown of the head is space, and the secret place is wisdom, which is said to be the lineage of bliss, so space and wisdom are skillful means and wisdom, and it is said that the meaning of two-two skillful means and wisdom is that when practicing, visualizing the chakras as if holding up umbrellas is the key point of the oral instructions. Similarly, the veins that pervade the ends of the hairs are also produced sequentially by the six elements. As stated in the Sutra of the Ocean of Samadhi of Buddha's Remembrance, when one becomes a Buddha, the pores of the hairs appear as six-sided jewels, which are the elements of the lineage. Because three skillful means and wisdom are mentioned, all the veins are the right Roma vein, the left Jiangma vein, and the middle central vein. With these three classifications, they become the three veins of the body, speech, and mind lineages. In short, all the veins from the central vein to the ends of the hairs should be known to be the nature of the six, five, four, three, and two elements. Third is the summary of the meaning: Thus knowing the characteristics of the veins, the abiding of the body will be realized. As it is said, like this, relying on knowing the way of abiding and the characteristics of the veins, one can realize that the body is not a whole or a single one, and in the conventional truth, one can also know the characteristics of the body, that is, the permanent, single, and independent self, etc., is empty of truth, and this appearance of all the veins is realized as the emanation body with defilements, so it is said. Second is the name of the chapter: In the explanation of the words of the profound inner meaning, it is the section that shows the veins of the body in detail, which is the separate explanation of the third chapter. The veins mentioned in this way are also accomplished by the wind, and because the wind flows in the veins, and the vital points are struck by the wind, it is necessary to know that the establishment of the wind is reversed. Therefore, the detailed display of the wind is divided into two: the text of the chapter, and the name of the chapter. The first part is divided into three: summary, detailed explanation, and summary of meaning. The first part is: Then the nature of the wind, as well as the place of abiding and the way of functioning, strength and weakness, the order, as well as the way of entering, the method of grasping, faults and merits, etc., will be explained here in order.

Having said that, he vowed to explain. What to explain? It is the nature of wind and so on. In what context to explain? It is after explaining the chapter on the channels, and from then on, in this fourth chapter, it will be explained. How to explain? It is the nature of wind, what letter it is, and the place where it resides, and the functions of the root and branch winds, and the manner of moving externally and internally, and the order of strength and weakness, combined with the planets, and the entry of wind, and the method of holding wind, and the faults and virtues of wind, and the manner of showing all of samsara and nirvana as the nature of wind, in those, because all the various establishments of wind are complete. Those will be explained in order. Thus it is said. Second, the detailed explanation is in five parts: the nature of what is produced and what produces; abiding with function; the order of moving externally and internally with function; the gate of entry with benefit; samsara and nirvana All are explained as the nature of wind. The first has two parts: the indication and the explanation. The first is: Wind is the combination of speech and time; all letters are born from this. Thus it is said, the wind that is the basis of all samsara and nirvana is the great primordial indestructible bliss, and that is, when speaking of wind, it is life, that is, the nature of short A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Devanagari: अ, IAST: a, Literal meaning: A) that abides, so the words that are spoken also arise from this, and breath, and mercury, and staff, and the combination of time, etc., also arise from this, and all letters such as vowels and consonants also arise from this, so although it cannot be spoken, it is the basis of all speech, as it is said in the "Praise of Names": A is the most excellent of all letters, it is a sacred letter of great meaning, it arises from the heart, without birth, it has abandoned being expressed in words, it is the most excellent cause of all speech, it makes all words completely clear. Thus it is said, from the perspective of letters, A is the root of all vowels and consonants, from the perspective of wind, the root of all ten winds The life wind is in the form of A, from the perspective of wisdom, the great bliss that never changes is called A, therefore the wind that is the root or basis of all dharmas is the A called life, from which all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana appear. The second has three parts:
