As it is said, the large size is twelve fingers in height and six fingers in mouth width; the medium size is ten fingers in height and five fingers in mouth width; the small size is nine fingers in height and the mouth width is half of that, which is six and a half fingers. According to the internal method, the skull of a sixteen-year-old male and the skull of a twelve-year-old female are placed back to back, covered with monkey skin, and beaten with the leg bone of a water bird. Other small hand drums are made from skulls and covered with monkey skin. On its two joints, lotuses should be painted and decorated with the blood of a woman. From the hair grown in the cemetery, take it out and wrap the two bones together. With two household flowers, on the two stamens of the lotus, write the essence of the mandala. As it is said, to symbolize the sixteen joys, from the sixteen holes, use a thread twisted from three strands of corpse hair, binding it from the outside like a net. On the inside, use the household flower, that is, the first menstruation of a girl, and place the deity, or the essence, or any seed syllable in the center of the eight-petaled lotus, cover it with monkey skin, and beat it with the bone of a water bird's leg. In the Sambhuti Tantra, it says: 'How to first recite the name, after reciting "Kham (藏文:ཁཾ་,梵文天城体:खं,梵文罗马拟音:kham,汉语字面意思:Space), Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hum)," strike with the leg bone of a water bird, so that you can summon all beings, including enchanting women. If they still do not come, then all the dakinis will die, it will definitely be accomplished, I have no doubt about what I have said.' As it is said. The secret practice is to take the secret bone of a girl who has not been defiled by worldly dharma, split it from the joint of the leg, reshape it well, cover it with the brain of that girl, and make a drumstick with the cut-off tip of a man's ring finger, which is called the secret small drum. From the pure aspect, the shape of the Damaru represents the great bliss of skillful means, and its sound proclaims the sound of emptiness. As the Two Contemplations Tantra says: 'The shape of skillful means is the hand drum, wisdom is the sound of the Damaru.' As it is said. From the perspective that it is non-dual in terms of the entity and the entity's support, it also shows the meaning of union. Next is a brief summary of the essential points of the samaya mudra vajra and bell. First, there are also two types of vajra:

Moreover, the vajra that represents meaning is the wisdom of one's own mind, which is non-dual. In the glorious Vajrabhairava-destroying Tantra, it says: 'Then I will explain the vajra of meaning. Because grasping and fixation cannot be distinguished, it is said to be the vajra of meaning.' As it is said. Secondly, the vajra of symbols is: In that very Tantra, it says: 'The vajra of symbols is of three kinds: three-pointed, five-pointed, and nine-pointed. The three points are symbols of body, speech, and mind. The five points are symbols of the five wisdoms. The nine points are symbols of the three realms and the nine grounds.' As it is said. The measurement is that, first of all, in the measurement of existence, whatever is done must be divided equally into three parts. The two horns, above and below, each occupy one-third. The garland of light, that is, the garland of pearls, is below the hidden place of the makara fish, above the moon disc, and there is a circle of pearl garlands. Therefore, the space between the two garlands of light, above and below, occupies one part, that is, it is divided into three parts. The face of Vajrasattva is not directly placed in the center of the vajra because the garland of Kali points is separated from life, so it is unspeakable. Therefore, there is no face in the center of the vajra. The garland of Ali vowels is the nature of life, which can be spoken, so the bell has a female face. Purity is: the garland of light is the appearance of all dharmas as the play of dharmata. The moon disc is the purity of the two graspers. The pistil of the lotus is the indestructible bodhicitta bindu, which, even though it abides in samsara, is not defiled by its faults. The eight petals of the lotus below it represent the eight noble paths. The small garland of pearls arranged below it represents that those completely pure things abide without separation. The center is: in order to represent that the great bliss vajra, which is originally abiding, unchanging, and co-emergent, transcends the realm of elaboration, it abides in the form of a perfect bindu. The five horns represent the nature of the five families, and each of them is made square, representing the pervasiveness of the four small families of the main family. The four horns emerging from the mouth of the makara fish represent going far away from the center of existence and proceeding into the realm of nirvana. The central horn, which is not taken out of the makara fish, represents that the beginningless bodhicitta has not fallen into either samsara or nirvana.
