holding. In the white, round water circle at the heart, from the seed syllable māṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:मां,梵文罗马拟音:māṃ,汉语字面意思:Ma) arises the black Killing Mother, who purifies the water element, with one face and four arms. The first right hand holds a vajra. In the red, triangular fire circle at the throat, from the seed syllable pāṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:पां,梵文罗马拟音:pāṃ,汉语字面意思:Bang) arises the red Hooking Mother, who purifies the fire element, with one face and four arms. The first right hand holds a lotus. In the black, crescent-shaped wind circle at the forehead, from the seed syllable tāṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:तां,梵文罗马拟音:tāṃ,汉语字面意思:Dang) arises the Lotus Dance自在母, who purifies the wind element, with one face and four arms. The first right hand holds a sword. All four of these have a hooked knife in their lower right hands, a skull cup in their first left hands, and a khaṭvāṃga in their lower left hands. In the secret place is the circle of space, from the seed syllable khaṃ (藏文,梵文天城体:खं,梵文罗马拟音:khaṃ,汉语字面意思:Kang) arises the Lotus Net Mother, who purifies the space element, smoky in color, with three faces, the right white and the left red. Of her six arms, the three right hands hold an iron hook, a hooked knife, and the head of Brahma, and the three left hands hold a khaṭvāṃga and a lasso. All five goddesses are naked, with disheveled hair, three eyes, and a wrathful expression. They are adorned with a wheel of bones on their heads, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, belts, and five bone seals, and they sit with their right legs extended and their left legs bent. These goddesses also have names that correspond to their actions: because they cause all demons and heretics to fall, they are called Falling Mothers; similarly, because they kill, they are called Killing Mothers; because they hook, they are called Hooking Mothers; because they belong to the lotus family and have power over the dance that accomplishes all tasks, they are called Lotus Dance自在母; because they delight all the deities of the lotus family, they are called Lotus Net Mothers. Their essence is, in order, the nature of Buddhalocana, Māmakī, White-robed, Samaya Tara, and Dharmadhatu Vajra Mother, as stated in the difficult explanations of Lūipa's realization. The order of generating these deities is also as follows: In Lūipa's Tantra it says: "Ignorance vajra in the eyes, purify hatred in the two ears, stinginess killing in the nose, desire vajra in the mouth, jealousy vajra in the body forehead, Bodhisattva自在bestows, in the self-essence of all birthplaces. The earth element is the Falling Mother, the water element is the Killing Mother, the fire element is the Hooking Mother, the wind element is the Dance自在母, the nature of space is the Lotus Burning Mother. These are in order at the navel, heart,

It speaks of "clouds at the forehead and secret place." As it is said, "Furthermore, forms and other dharmas should be contemplated like images and so on." Thus, contemplate the aggregates, elements, and sources as deities, all being inherently pure, appearing but without inherent existence, like the moon in water and the image in a mirror. Having ascertained this, to clarify the meaning, recite the mantra: Om, nature is completely pure. (Tibetan: ༀ་པྲ་ཀྲྀ་ཏི་པ་རི་ཤུདྡྷཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ प्रकृति परिशुद्धाः, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ prakṛti pariśuddhāḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, nature is completely pure.) All dharmas. Sanskrit Romanization: sarva dharmāḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: All dharmas.) Nature is completely pure, I am. Sanskrit Romanization: prakṛtivariśuddho' haṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Nature is completely pure, I am.) Here, the first nature is the object of grasping, and the second is the purity of the grasper. The lotus mudra and the embracing posture are symbols of the inseparability of the appearance as a deity and the emptiness of nature. Next is the contemplation of the protective circle. As it is said in Luipa's Abhisamaya, "Then, with the thumb and forefinger of the left hand, ring the bell and release it first." Also, as it is said in the Bell-Bearer's Sadhana Wish-Fulfilling Jewel, "Imagine the two hands of great bliss transformed into Hum, east and so on are not in accordance with the tradition, in accordance with the tradition the left finger rings the bell." Thus it is said. Imagine oneself as Heruka, the aggregates, elements, and sources all transformed into deities. In this state, the left hand rings the bell, shaking it towards one's front, reciting "Om Sumbhani" and so on, and from one's mouth black rays of light emanate, shooting towards the east, completely transforming, from which arise the black letters of the Sumbhani mantra, the form being extremely large, contemplate it pervading from the Brahma realm to the space beneath the earth. Similarly, the bell is shaken to the north, shaking it to one's left, reciting "Om Grihna" and so on, and from the mouth green rays of light emanate, shooting towards the north, completely transforming, from which arise the green letters of the Grihna mantra, the form being extremely large, contemplate as before. Again, the bell is shaken to the west, shaking it to one's rear, reciting "Om Grihnapaya" and so on, and from the mouth red rays of light emanate, shooting towards the west, completely transforming, from which arise the red letters of the Grihnapaya mantra, the form being extremely large, contemplate as before. Again, the bell is shaken to the south, shaking it to one's right, reciting "Om Anaya Ho" and so on, and from the mouth yellow rays of light emanate, shooting towards the south, completely transforming, from which arise the yellow letters of the Anaya Ho mantra, the form being extremely large, pervading from the Brahma realm to the space beneath the earth.
