It mainly shows... In this great secret, it is the path of knowing. If one fully understands the essence, it will become a pure place. It becomes a helpful companion of the same kind. The meditation of reversing secrets is not taught to children. Thus, the characteristic vehicle mainly focuses on the path of abandonment and the path of transformation. The unsurpassed mantra mainly focuses on the path of knowing one's own nature. At that time, if one does not believe in the principle of self-nature being completely pure, which is taught by the guru through the tantras and instructions, and doubts whether this is possible, then one will quickly abandon this path without any difficulty, because the sin of abandoning the secret dharma is extremely serious. Even if one does not abandon it, this path will not produce results, so the need to enter the secret dharma will not be achieved. During the empowerment, if one distorts the key points that are taught, one will violate the vows. The object is: In the vase empowerment, all the dharmas included in the realm of the aggregates and elements are shown as the nature of the deity. One thinks, if these are all deities, why do we need to practice? Also, the deity has body color, hand gestures, etc., and is the nature of light. However, these forms, sounds, etc. are all ordinary things, so is it not true that these are deities? One holds on to this. In the path of secret empowerment, the vows to be eaten, such as red and white objects, the five meats and the five nectars, etc., are shown as nectars that are formed by the nature of giving immortality. One thinks, if these impure things are nectars, then it is easy to see, why do we need to enter the secret dharma? And so on. In the third empowerment, one experiences the four states of co-emergent joy that are free from ordinary names and concepts. That is, by binding the key points of the oral instructions, the realization of the four joys and the four bodies of the path arises. With the wisdom of metaphor and meaning, purifying the mind and bindu is the supreme path. But one thinks, alas! Are these not the practices of lustful heretics? And so on. In the path of the fourth empowerment, all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana are naturally pure. Therefore, the dharmas of mundane samsara are established as, all of them are naturally pure deities, and all of them are naturally unborn, free from truth and falsehood and establishment, like the moon's reflection in water and the twelve metaphors of illusion. The *Two Examinations Tantra* says: "The nature is originally unborn."

PA. Likewise, neither true nor false, everything is like the moon in water. The yogini knows it through desire. If one does not believe in such statements, thinking, "Is this a view of neither existence nor non-existence?" or "Is it not a nihilistic view because it denies the truth?" and so on, one becomes doubtful. Similarly, in the vase empowerment, because all phenomena are pure as deities, they are empty of impurity; in the path of the secret empowerment, because skillful means and wisdom are primordially inseparable, they are empty of separation; in the third path, because all phenomena are pure in bliss, they are empty of suffering and equanimity; in the fourth path, because the two truths are inseparable and primordially abide like illusions, they are empty of arising and ceasing, and truth and falsehood. If one does not believe in these emptinesses and has great doubts, then, as the Great Commentary says, "The ninth is the pure dharma, which is whoever does not believe in the dharma of emptiness." It is said. The Black Executioner Tantra says, "Do not denounce the dharma of the village." This is taught by separating the pure dharma of the realm of the third empowerment, which should not be doubted. In short, all the purities of the first three empowerments are the actual objects of this downfall. In terms of the difficulty of understanding the fourth empowerment, the conventional nature is divided into purity and the ultimate nature into purity. The conventional nature, like an illusion, is free from truth and falsehood. The sutra also teaches that if there is anything that surpasses all dharmas, it is also like an illusion. In the Guhyasamaja, the way in which the stages of the illusory body are taught as being like an illusion is the actual object of this root downfall. The purity of the ultimate nature is established as the actual object of the eleventh. Similarly, due to attachment to the tenets of objectivism and consciousness-only, in the Madhyamaka, in the context of refuting the self in the middle, the self of phenomena and persons, which is taught, has never existed even in name; in the final view of pacifying and reversing everything, all aspects of clinging to extremes are rejected, and one enters the state of the cessation of proliferation. If one thinks, "Is this not a nihilistic view?" and has doubts, then having doubts about one aspect of the purity of the fourth empowerment also becomes a root downfall. Therefore, the Great Commentary says, "Not believing in emptiness." Some think this is self-awareness.
