Saying: 'It is not the Vajra holder on the ground.' And saying: 'Without attaining the ground, a householder should not be regarded as a lama by the king.' And saying: 'Without attaining the ground, when a householder offers, at that time, there will be no respect for the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.' And saying: 'The consecration of temples, etc., should be done by those with signs.' If there are three in one place, then it is not a householder wearing white clothes.' And saying: 'With begging and red clothes, the evil master, from shame, with obscene prostrations and offerings, causes the Buddhists to lose their way.' And saying: 'Whenever red clothes are seen, sinful ones will become hateful, Buddhists who like heretical teachings, at that time, will like white clothes.' And saying, in the commentary: 'The teachings of Buddhism are not always white clothes, as such, in the monastery of Manjushri's (འཇམ་དཔལ་, Mañjuśrī) land, when monks and novices fail, then white clothes are given, the kasaya is taken away, and they are definitely expelled from the monastery.' And saying: 'If there is a Bhikshu Vajradhara, but relies on those who have obtained harmful situations, this is a great disrespect to the Bhikshu Sangha, and surely this is to cause the distinction of the Sugata to deteriorate.' Thus. Saying white clothes is also because in the holy land (India), white is the main sign of a householder. In Tibet, householders also wear clothes of all colors, and similarly, because the teachings are declining, there are many householders who are bald and have hair who hold the signs of renunciation. Because they have not taken vows, all of those are called householders. In Tibet, taking and guarding vows is what distinguishes them, otherwise it seems impossible to distinguish by signs. Similarly, in order to protect food, monks listen to the four Vinaya divisions from householders, householders debate the Vinaya, and some monks also regard obtaining a householder's servant as fulfilling their wishes, coveting those, and despising those who have not obtained them. Similarly, judging the Vajra master's superiority or inferiority based on reasons of lineage and power, as well as wealth and residence and fame.

It seems to be the case. Nowadays, in this period in Tibet, these Dharma items may not necessarily be needed, but in order for oneself to be born in future lives in a pure land where the Sutra and Tantra teachings abide in accordance with the Dharma, and to become a cause for attaining the supreme fruition, this text is written. If it is thought that the caste holders of Northern Shambhala, etc., householder Vajra holders do not exist, then such power is possessed by the elder in wisdom. If all Vajra holders with signs are not like that, then a householder Vajra holder, whether or not they have attained realization, as long as they have clairvoyance, because they are elders in wisdom, they will become the leader of all, and it is said to be equal to ten monks. If, because the speakers of the sacred Dharma are rare, a monk needs to teach the sacred Dharma to a monk or novice, then when listening to the Dharma, one should place a Buddha image or scripture, etc., in front of them, and if it is easy to find a real object of support and a substitute, one should prostrate. Except for washing hands and feet and cooking food, all services should be done, in order to avoid the criticism of the world. 'The sacred Dharma, etc., is placed in front, to householders or children, the holder of vows prostrates with wisdom.' And 'Abandoning non-excellent actions and prostrations, laying out cushions and standing up, the things to be done, etc., all services are done by the holder of vows.' If the other person is the one who gives you wisdom, even if they are a householder, they are a Vajra holder, and one must rely on them in accordance with the Dharma. In short, although Master Rechungpa extensively proclaimed the characteristics of the Guru, what needs to be done is that you yourself visualize me on your crown, and after praying, just because he did that, all the faults of the continuum can be eliminated, all the merits can arise, and the ultimate realization of Mahamudra can be attained. If there is no such thing, one cannot protect the beings of the degenerate age. In order to do that, all the faults in one's own continuum need to be eliminated, all the merits need to be perfected, and ultimately one needs to become a Buddha. This is the view of the Kagyu school. Second, regarding the first root downfall, the difference in the object is explained. For the Guru himself, the activities of this life have not yet been accomplished, and because the gains and honors are meager, due to food, wealth, women, etc., he is alienated by others.
