From that, the nature of all, each showing the form of emanation that agrees with the mind, the holder of the mind of the great seal of the Dharma realm, expounding the speech of eighty-four thousand collections of Dharma, I take refuge in the glorious root guru Rinpoche. I take refuge in the Buddha. I take refuge in the Dharma. I take refuge in the Sangha. I take refuge in the Bhagavan Lokiteśvara, the compassionate great victor, the assembly of deities of the mandala of the ocean. I take refuge in the assembly of heroes, dakinis, dharma protectors, and guardians. Three or seven or twenty-one, one hundred, etc., those who dwell in the ten directions and three times, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and Bhagavan Vajradhara, Vajra Acharya, please consider. Just as the protectors of the three times, for the sake of sentient beings, generate the supreme Bodhicitta, so too do I generate the mind. Just as the protectors of the three times, the path of merit, wisdom, and enlightenment, proceed by familiarizing themselves with skillful means and wisdom, so too do I proceed on the path. Just as the protectors of the three times, having become Buddhas in all-knowingness, benefit sentient beings as vast as space, so too do I perform the benefit of others. May those who have not crossed over be crossed over, may those who have not been liberated be liberated, may those who have not yet breathed be given breath, may sentient beings pass into Nirvana, may all attain Buddhahood. May all sentient beings, equal to space, have happiness and be free from suffering, and for the sake of the state of Avalokiteśvara, may we meditate on the two profound stages. The purification of body and mind, and the protection circle: instantly transform oneself into Bhagavan Lokiteśvara, red in color, with one face and two arms, the right holding a lotus, the left holding a rosary, adorned with various ornaments of silk and jewels, seated in the vajra posture, at his heart, a red HRĪḤ (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: shā), complete with bindu and nada, radiating the light of the nature of the five wisdoms. From that light, emanate the assembly of the wrathful king Hayagriva with one face and two arms, and the assembly of seas of fire and weapons, destroying all the assemblies of obstacles, and again from the light, below is the vajra ground, in the middle is the vajra fence.
