Itself. For example, if you cut a bamboo and look at it, you will know that all bamboos are empty inside. Similarly, one thought is realized as emptiness, all thoughts are the same as this. There is no joy in abiding, and no displeasure in moving. Just as there is no difference between water and water waves, there is no difference between abiding and moving, look at the nature of whatever appears. If it is too excited and agitated, relax the body and mind. If it is drowsy and unclear, look with alertness. After that, at some point the movement will decrease. Sometimes there is a "peh" sound, and sometimes it flashes. Even if it flashes, it quickly returns to the state of abiding. Therefore, abiding is called attachment. After that, when cultivating this experience, you will feel relaxed, refreshed and clear. For example, just as waves do not harm the ocean, even if a slight movement appears, it will not cause harm. This happens sometimes and sometimes it does not, sometimes it is difficult even to meditate and think, and maintain the body posture. Sometimes it appears like this even without meditating. After that, the body is comfortable and the mind abides peacefully. The general activities of walking, staying, sitting, and lying down do not disturb it. From that time on, you will find the desire to meditate. Sometimes even in dreams, you can maintain this state. Thinking "My experience and realization are very good," therefore, strong attachment arises to it. Do not be attached to it, look at its nature. The phenomenon is happiness, and the nature is emptiness, the inseparable bliss-emptiness mahamudra will appear. If you are attached, it will become the cause of being reborn as a god in the desire realm. Some people regard thoughts as enemies, thinking that not thinking about anything is meditation. This is called the view of the Chinese monk. Not thinking about anything, staying dull, is similar to obstruction, the cause of being reborn as an animal. Even if there is a need to remember, it is not allowed to remember, collecting consciousness in the heart and abiding, this is called obstruction, the path of the Shravakas. Therefore, do not deliberately stop the movement, nor deliberately cause the movement, look at the nature of whatever appears. When looking, if nothing is seen, that is when emptiness, the ultimate truth, is seen. Just like in the state of not seeing, there is nothing to see, sometimes even if you look, it is not clear, it is blurry. The movement is blurry, agitated, and the heart is unhappy. This way of meditation is also like shooting without a target. Some doubts and thoughts arise in the mind, this itself is a rough experience, there is no harm. Relax the body and mind, and cast your gaze at the sky. Look at the blue sky and blend it with your own mind. Mind

The clear essence of the earth dissipates, revealing luminosity and emptiness. Sometimes luminosity, awareness, and the three emptinesses are naked and bare. Arrogance arises, thinking, "This is a high realization." Definite conviction arises that no one can change one's mind. At that time, if definite conviction is dominated by arrogance, It becomes the cause of being born in the realm of the gods of the form realm. Looking at the essence of luminosity is emptiness itself. The union of luminosity and emptiness manifests as the Great Seal. Sometimes the entire body and mind are emptiness itself. Seeing everything as empty, one speaks loftily of Dharma. Just as the empty sky cannot be stained by anything, One thinks that good and evil, benefit and harm, are meaningless. If one's behavior is coarse and one does not practice virtue, The view of emptiness becomes foolish, becoming the cause of falling into the lower realms. This is what is called a wrong view of emptiness. Even so, if one sees everything as empty, One should protect the essence and strive to adopt and abandon cause and effect. Such stages of experience, Sometimes lasting long, sometimes disappearing quickly, etc., Do not remain fixed, like the changing sky. Then, even if thoughts have not diminished, Even if there are many thoughts, they do not harm meditation, Meditation manifests like rain falling on the ocean. Then, there is no need to alternate between generation and completion stages, Without separating from the essence of emptiness in practice, Visualize one's own body as the form of the deity Great Compassionate One, Like a rainbow appearing in the sky. Recite the six-syllable mantra, slightly more than before. Without loosening any of the three, practice becomes joyful. Even during meditation, there is no hardship, Merely remembering brings one into the state of practice. This is called easily cultivated practice. Then, earth, stones, mountains, rocks, etc., Everything seen is like a mist, Although each is clear, one sees that the essence is emptiness. Mind and sky are inseparable, merging into one, Thinking that the mind pervades wherever the sky pervades. Everything is mind, mind has no essence, Thinking that it is emptiness, devoid of anything. It is not existent, there is not a single particle of matter, It is not non-existent, yet various phenomena arise. Thinking that it is neither existent nor non-existent, but one. If one is tightly bound by these attachments, One will stray into the four formless realms, Without having a definite conviction of clinging to anything, Without clinging, look freely at whatever arises, resting naturally in the essence. Then, the viewer and the viewed merge into one, There is no "look at this," "look at that," "meditate on this," "meditate on that," There is no ordinary state of "this is this," "that is that." Sometimes it is ordinariness itself.
