There are three. Briefly explain the essence, elaborate on the function, and use metaphors to confirm. The first is: There is no confusion or clamor, the teacher does not lose mindfulness, there is no unequal mind, nor are there various concepts, there is no unexamined abandonment, aspiration, diligence, and mindfulness, wisdom, liberation, and of liberation, the wisdom of observation will not be lost, all actions are preceded by wisdom, and in time wisdom has no obstacles. Thus, these eighteen and others are the unique qualities of the teacher. It is said. There are four parts to it, of which six are summarized by conduct: the body's conduct has no confusion, and the speech's conduct has no clamor. Similarly, the teacher's mind does not lose mindfulness, there is no unequal mind, nor are there various concepts, nor is there unexamined abandonment. There are six unique aspects of realization: there is no loss of aspiration, diligence, mindfulness, wisdom, complete liberation from obstacles will not be lost, and the wisdom of liberation's observation will not be lost. Here, samadhi is not counted because it is considered to be included in the absence of an unequal mind. There are three unique aspects of activity: all activities of body, speech, and mind have obtained the guidance of wisdom and the following of wisdom. There are three unique aspects of wisdom: through training the mind in the knowable of the three times, one obtains the wisdom observation that has no attachment or obstruction to the three times. Thus, these eighteen unique aspects, and others besides these, the infinite body, and the invisibility like the crown of the head, and the ability to pacify the faults of sentient beings as soon as they are seen, and the sutras say that the robe does not touch the body by four fingers, etc., are also the unique qualities of the teacher. These are also the wonderful differences that are not shared by the qualities of hearers and self-realizers, etc., arising from the cause of unerringly guiding the way for sentient beings who have lost their way on the path of learning in the past. The second is: confusion and clamor, forgetfulness and mental agitation, and various concepts, natural abandonment, are not present in the Tathagata, aspiration and diligence, and mindfulness.

Possessing perfectly pure and stainless wisdom, constantly and thoroughly liberated, and able to see all that is knowable, there is no falling away from the wisdom of liberation. All three actions of body, speech, and mind follow the preceding wisdom, and knowing the three times constantly without obstruction is a vast realm. The realized one can make beings fearless, turn the great wheel of Dharma, possess great compassion, is the victorious one who has conquered the afflictions, and is the attainment of all Buddhas. It is said that mistakes in body, babbling in speech, forgetfulness in mind, and agitation of mind, i.e., not abiding in equanimity, having different perceptions of samsara and nirvana, and spontaneous, unexamined abandonment, are not present in the upright. Aspiration, diligence, mindfulness, perfectly pure and stainless wisdom, constant and thorough liberation, and seeing all that is knowable, there is no falling away from the aspect of the wisdom of liberation. The three activities of body, speech, and mind of any Buddha, all are preceded by the motivation of cause, wisdom, and followed by the motivation of time, wisdom, and the three times of past, future, and present are constantly unobstructed, and it is certain that knowing is a vast realm. Realizing the eighteen parts, thereby obtaining the ability to make beings fearless, and turning the great wheel of Dharma, that is the one who possesses great compassion for the benefit of others, and the victorious one who has conquered the enemy to be abandoned for one's own benefit, is manifestly attained by the Buddhas who have previously and subsequently cultivated the corresponding path and are free from adventitious defilements. The third is: the nature of whatever qualities exist in earth and so on is not that of space. The characteristic of space, unobstructedness and so on, whatever that characteristic is, is not present in form. Earth, water, fire, wind, and space are similar, and are common in the world. The nature of non-mixture, even a particle, is not common in the world. It is said that the qualities of hardness, moisture, etc., that exist in the four elements of earth and so on, whatever is the nature of each composite, is not present in space. The characteristic of space, the ability to understand without obstructing other phenomena, etc., whatever the characteristic is, those are not present in form. Therefore, although space pervades form, it is not common with it.
