The so-called Buddha is distinguished by the perfection of self-benefit and the ultimate achievement of benefiting others. That is, the basis for self-benefit is the supreme Dharmakaya, and the basis for benefiting others is the illusory Rupakaya. It is the nature of having two bodies. If we differentiate the qualities based on what exists in them, then the Dharmakaya has thirty-two qualities of the fruit of separation, and the Rupakaya has thirty-two qualities of the fruit of maturation. The sum of both is these sixty-four distinctions of qualities. Secondly: The self's is the place of attainment, it is the body of supreme meaning, it is the body of expression of the sages, it is the place of others' perfection, the first body is strength and so on, possessing the qualities of separation, the second is the marks of a great person, possessing the qualities of maturation. It is said, the self's all meaningful perfections are the field of attainment, the naturally accomplished place or basis, is the meaning of the noble wisdom's supreme realm, the manifested Dharmakaya. The great perfect Buddhas, merely as an expression, merely as a term, the Rupakaya is the place or basis where all meaningful perfections of the trainees arise and are naturally accomplished. Among these, the first Dharmakaya, is the ten powers and four fearlessnesses, etc., from accumulating the collection of wisdom, merely by separating from obscurations, the qualities that are completely distinguished are possessed without any difference. The second Rupakaya, is the thirty-two marks of a great person, etc., from accumulating the collection of merit, the qualities of the essence's power gradually maturing are also possessed. Secondly, the detailed explanation of qualities is divided into four parts: combining metaphor and meaning to briefly show with verses, detailed explanation of each classification, the way to understand from the teachings that reveal these, and again combining metaphor and meaning to show. The first is: Strength is like a vajra on the obscuration of ignorance, fearlessness is like a lion in a wheel, the Tathagata is unmixed like space, the two teachings of the Sage are like the moon in water.

Thus it is said, the ten powers of the Buddha, because they can completely destroy the obscurations such as ignorance, and no one can destroy them, are like the vajra among substances. The four fearlessnesses, because there is no fear in the assembly, are like the lion, the king of beasts. The eighteen unshared qualities of the Tathagata, because they are not shared with others, are like the sky not being shared with the four elements. The two aspects of the manifestation of the body of the Sage are like the moon in water, because although they appear in various ways due to faith, their essence is not established. The second (part) is divided into two: explaining the result of separation, and explaining the result of maturation. The first (part) is also divided into three: explaining the ten powers, explaining the four fearlessnesses, and explaining the eighteen unshared qualities. The first (part) is divided into two: identifying the nature of the meaning to be expressed, and determining it with the example of the expression. The first (part) is: "Place and non-place, actions, maturation, and faculties, elements and inclinations, the path of all-going and samadhi, etc., the nature of non-defilement, the remembrance of past abodes, the divine eye and peace, the powers of knowledge are ten kinds." Thus it is said, from the steadfastness of previously generating the mind of enlightenment and keeping vows, obtaining a pleasant result from virtue is the place, and obtaining an unpleasant result is the non-place, etc., knowing; knowing the maturation of all actions by teaching the results of actions; knowing the superiority and inferiority of faculties by teaching the Dharma in accordance with the faculties; knowing the various elements by entering in accordance with the elements; knowing the various inclinations by entering in accordance with the inclinations; knowing the path of universal going in samsara and nirvana from being accustomed to all vehicles; knowing the afflictions and non-defilement by diligently engaging in samadhi, etc.; remembering past abodes by not abandoning virtue; knowing death and birth with the divine eye from the superior intention, etc., towards sentient beings; the power of knowing the exhaustion of outflows and the pacification of afflictions is accomplished by teaching the Dharma for the sake of exhausting the outflows. The power of victory over what is to be abandoned, in accordance with one's own continuum, is the ten kinds of manifest aspects that are contradictory to oneself and others.
