Holding all sentient beings. The obscurations of that are endless afflictions and, near afflictions, habitual tendencies. Constantly destroying that, the condition is great compassion. Thus it is said. Initially, from samsara to later enlightenment, the path that certainly leads to the ultimate state, the cause of the activity is the bodhisattva's progression through the ten bhumis. The cause for the qualities of those ten bhumis to increase and the activity to be closely manifested is the two accumulations of skillful means, merit, and wisdom. The result of those causes and conditions being perfected is the attainment of the supreme, perfect, and complete great enlightenment, the most excellent state. Even after attaining enlightenment, the field of activity is seeing all sentient beings as having the essence of the Tathagata, and therefore holding them. The reason for that is also that the obscurations of that essence are endless afflictions and near afflictions, including habitual tendencies, so the sudden stains must be destroyed. The condition for constantly destroying those obscurations is that great compassion shows the path, so the activity of the Buddha is continuous. At this time, Rongton Chenpo said: Therefore, what is the cause of the activity that is continuous? It is because the bhumis and accumulations have already gone ahead. What result, when attained, makes it continuous? It is the attainment of enlightenment. What field, when it exists, makes it continuous? It is that all sentient beings have the nature of the essence of enlightenment, and compassion removes its obscurations. Thus it is well said. The third is: These six places, in order, are like the ocean, the sun, the sky, a treasure, clouds, and wind. Thus it is said. The meaning of the cause for the Tathagata's activity being continuous is that these six places should be known by combining the examples and meanings in order. That is, the great ocean, the stainless sun, the realm of space, the great treasure, the clouds to be destroyed, and the power of the great wind to be scattered should be known as they are. The fourth is: Because the bhumis possess the water of wisdom, qualities, and jewels, they are like the ocean. By causing all sentient beings

Furthermore, the two accumulations are like the sun, vast, boundless, and without center; enlightenment is like the realm of space. Because of the nature of perfect enlightenment, the realm of sentient beings is like a treasure; because it is sudden, pervasive, and unestablished, its afflictions are like a gathering of clouds; because it dwells near to scatter them, great compassion is like a fierce wind. It is said that, because they possess the water of immaculate wisdom and the jewels of qualities such as clairvoyance, the ten bodhisattva grounds, which are the cause of certain emergence, are like the ocean. Because they benefit all sentient beings, live near with happiness, and benefit them, the two accumulations of merit and wisdom, which are the cause of near manifestation, are like the sun. Because they are vast by pervading everything and profound by being boundless and without center, their result, great enlightenment, is like the realm of space. Because the nature of perfect enlightenment and the wealth of qualities are inexhaustible, and because it abides as primordially spontaneously accomplished, the realm of beings to be embraced, the essence of the Tathagata, which is pure by nature, is like a great treasure. Because it can be abandoned as sudden, pervades in nature, and is unestablished in ultimate truth, the obscurations, afflictions, of that realm, which is pure by nature, are like a thick gathering of clouds. The cause of dispelling obscurations, great compassion, which shows the path to dispel afflictions like clouds, is like the force of an inexhaustible and extremely fierce wind because it dwells near. Due to being determined by others, Looking at self and sentient beings as equal, Because the deeds are not completely perfected, He does not cease to create existence in samsara. It is said that, having vowed in the past on the path of learning to liberate all sentient beings without exception, and because he has certainly emerged by the path that is solely under the power of benefiting others, and because, having attained enlightenment for the sake of others, he knows that his actions are meaningful by seeing himself and sentient beings as equal in terms of the essence of the Buddha, and because the realm of sentient beings has no end,
